I hope they don't Dadugan. It's pretty much the utility warriors bring to fights atm. We don't have some of the toolkit the other tanks have, but we hit hard. I find that utterly inkeeping with the class fantasy. I'm not a holy warrior, or a corpse soaking up blood, or too drunk to notice the damage, I'm just really pissed off.

But it will give me Stats upgrade are: +40 armor - +35 str + 66sta
Stay with ilvl 310 with The one where your spells have a chance to grant 621mastery for 15 sec. When the effect expires it jumps to a nearby ally, granting 122 mastery for 8 sec.

hey so i haven't played wow in forever, but i have been playing prot and tanking normals around 300ilvl to try to get the swing of things. The only problem is that on pulls with 4+ mobs, there is no way in hell i can keep all the aggro on me. Is this because im not taunting individual trash mobs when they stray away? The reason I’m asking is 2 fold. 1: the prot warriors in my guild are moaning big time about it, 2: I spent a little while on the other tanks (apart from Druid) and decided on my good old faithful warr, so far I haven’t noticed any difference whilst levelling, I fact bar my do it’s the easiest but I can’t stand frost an uh. Just wondered if it changes massively at 120 and the whinging in guild is justified

@abstract adder if you have a 310 shield and you are getting demolished, you probably arent mitigating properly. With AM you dont need to worry about holding your defensive cooldowns as much, so throw those bad boys if you need them

I have been having a blast ironically with Prot. Avatar + unstoppable force is so fun, and with booming voice the damage is insane. I don't have a great shield, but I haven't received any complaints in mythics about my survivability.

The pinned guide has all the basics for you, but practice is going to be the best way to improve ofc. Maybe try watching youtube guides of people running content, or joining a group at DPS to watch how a prot tank works (if you can find one)
There are also some weakauras pinned in there to help you keep track of some of your mitigative abilities

I haven't yet run into a DPS that can pull mobs off of me in a Avatar - Charge - TC+SB - DS - TC situation

Yeah Arms is about the only thing that catches me reguarlly on big pulls
for the same reason - mutliplicative damage buffs on infinite target AE

yeah same on deafening crash. But yeah prot's damage is pretty good, i usually beat other arms/fury warriors im grouped with on trash no problem.

Yeah imo bis prot "fix" would be IP off gcd, "your next attack will cause IP effect" think a defensive version of heroic strike
