Out of all the tank specs in the game, I find it to be the most engaging
It comes down to personal preference, really, but I have raided as every tank minus a blood DK, and warrior is the only one I always go back to. There's something really satisfying about charging headfirst into battle and smashing a slab of metal the size of a door into a boss' kneecaps

Prot warriors have the most solid feel to them...Druids, I dunno, kind've boring - Paladins just sound like Windchimes, very disconnected feeling from the tanking itself, Blood DK are great if you like scaring your healers (since you can go from 20% to full in a GCD), I have no input on DH or monk

DH feels like you're an awkward DPS that isn't nearly as effective as Havoc, and only like 50% more tanky. Vengeance is wonky. The mobility is great, but in a raid setting, you typically only need a certain amount of mobility, and DH's is part of their rotation, so you risk losing out on DPS (which equals survivability for VDH) to hold a leap for mobility mechanics, or you risk getting rekt by a mobility mechanic to maximize dps. Plus they pop in and out of metamorphosis so much that you don't really feel like your character (IMO)
Monks are weird. You can take MASSIVE hits without blinking an eye, but a steady stream of small attacks will bleed you dry very quickly, whereas most other tanks can handle that kind of thing without issue. They are also the most reliant on healers in Legion.

Might be a bit late but imo prot warr mage tower is much easier than prot pally, mostly because spell reflect and cleave that isn't avenger's shield procs makes you feel so much more in control. Being able to reflect Kruul's twisted reflections is hilarious and makes it so much easier too

Each tank tower has something that the others do not
same tower, but slight variations on mechanics
like the druid range on his desolation aura is twice as large (negated by the wraps and Boomkin spec)

Base HP isn't everything. Our EHP is exceptionally high when blocks and IP are factored in... which other tanks don't have (sans Paladins but blocking isn't a main thing for them).

@cosmic whale It's a daily chance, use the script and check for something alongside a "you hear a roar" when entering the neltharion cave. Note that the script won't tell you if you can loot it until you're IN the cave anyway, otherwise you always get false. You can also get the /roar from queing into that drogbar dungeon

What I did to be successful in that fight was run in circles around the purple aura from the caster dude - infernals never hit you if you're always moving, and you can smack the eye balls as you run around for victory rushes. If shit gets hairy, you can heroic leap into an orb.
Kite Kruul along the outside edge of the arena as well when he spawns. You'll be able to dodge the purple lasers more easily
and jump while kiting so his leap doesn't fuck your shit

We have an easier time with kruul than other tanks, Imo. Reflect the twisted spell, stagger CD's for extra annihilation strikes, heroic leaps to get out of purple beams or recover from smashes. If you have the 2pc T21 set, it makes it much much easier as well

then when you get to the interesting/difficult bosses like argus you get to know who actually understands their class. but for sub-max content you can basically play a tank like a dps
