I would use bracers/gloves or bracers/belt personally. Walls has some synergy with both (since both increase rage gain, which increases CDR from AM), but typically isn't used when gloves are available

to my knowledge, the teleport part of the mushroom (or rock) trick still works; it just doesn't prevent the cats from leaping like it did before. So theoretically if the tank aggroed a bunch of mobs then went into that spot, the mobs would all teleport to the tank. That's all I can think of.

Only thing that overtakes is belt with a large amount of targets, but if you want to go defensive with that you go belt+bracers anyway

It happens u get a 2x stack sometimes.. id try take first with a close to maxd up IP, and save SW / LS for 2nd if co-tank fucks up

However .. with some proper gear u'll should survive 3 hits pretty easy with IP on first IP+SW on 2nd and IP+LS on 3rd

Reflectable on mythic too. Not sure how realistic it is though because it's a cleave-type ability so it hits more than just the person that it's aimed at from what I can tell. So you definitely can't "reflect the entire hatred beam pretty much killing the boss"

The initial targeting of it is random (but can't choose tank unless it's only you there) and then it just goes across the area randomly. So it'd be kinda tough to actually stay in the beam the entire time

Definitely worth hitting reflect and jumping into the beam if it's convenient but I don't think it's anything you can reliably do for the entire beam or anything. Still some extra damage to dish out if you can get a few ticks reflected though.

He is dropping neltharions thunder as well, which I'd recommend he keeps up if hes struggling with scythes

But mostly I'd just tell him to see if he has some more avoidance gear, get the last bastion relic and plan out his CD usage

mh, I got a diimas and try to sim it against my memento for dps comparison, but I do not get raidbots to actually use it. I have my own APL that useses the action "actions+=/use_item,slot=trinket2,if=buff.battle_cry.up" and I compare both trinkets in slot 2, but the effect is not listed in the damage source list. Am I doing something wrong here or is the effect simply not implemented?

yeah, I can activate the trinket by name or by item slot and it works fine. as soon as I add the ,if=buff.battle_cry.up parameter, it does not acivate at all (and yes, battle cry is used in the APL and shown as active buff). so is that parameter incorrect?

Hi fellow warriors! I recently hit 110 and am working to gear for raiding. I'm presently at ilvl 813. Is it worth gemming or enchanting the ilvl 850 neck I got? (http://www.wowhead.com/item=133636/brysngamen-torc-of-helheim&bonus=1502:1826 though I might be linking it wrong, mine's epic?)

This blue amulet of item level 845 goes in the "Neck" slot. It is looted from Helya. In the Amulets category. Added in World of Warcraft: Legion.

Well you don't have to kill eyes if you don't need healing. Just make sure you are facing them at the end of the cast so you don't get knocked. What talent build are you using?

Make liberal use of CDs especially if you have stacks of the aura when adds come out. Don't worry about saving orbs from Velen. Use as many as you want. If you have t21 2pc, p2 won't last long enough for you to even need a CD for annihilate so you can use everything in p1 if you need to.

If the debuff will drop during BC, use TC before BC. You ideally will use nothing but slam during BC in single target.

I wasn't saying to worry about phase 2. Quite the opposite. Phase 1 is harder mechanically. If you get that down, phase 2 is just a matter of time.

How many stacks are you taking at a time?

On opener you can pop all your offensives (BC, demo shout, avatar) with pot and stay in for 8ish stacks, then just pop last stand and spell reflect if you need it (cast it at the end of a mind rend cast to reduce 2x by 50%)

Honestly if you're taking 8 after the first time, that's probably why you're dying.

Unless you have Last Stand up for each time. If you don't have LS, i wouldnt take more than 4

You can take forever in p1. Theres nothing to overwhelm you. Kill eyes to keep them under control/get heals. Horrors only come 4 at a time and die in like 3-4 globals. Even taking your time you shouldnt have more than 3 infernals going into p2. I did it at 929 with no t21 and still only had 3 infernals in p2

And i was really bad at tracking the aura so i spent a lot more time not dpsing variss than i should have

Ah true. Yeah looking back I think there was some stuff I based on assumption when guides should be written for people with extremely limited knowledge lol good tip to keep in mind as well for future stuff.

I want to play with the format and get some visual cues on there. Obviously content being dated is the perfect time for me to mess with them, come BFA I would hopefully be ready for polished guides for our pins
