I think this would be cool because I think there are no restone mods in blc

There are texturepacks for this, like at vanillatweaks.net for powered redstone lines, go to resource packs -> utility -> redstone power levels as well as a bunch of other useful things for redstoners. it is not really feasible to have it show levels if the redstone is unpowered as you don't know the starting point.
