I mean the internal graphics on the teleporter... The sort of blue shade that turns on when powered up - I know about the power in Creative... 🙂

The joypad not working issue - Played longer in a new save on creative without the problems happening than I did in exp or normal

i'll try testing the Expedition save on my Steam Deck with my Xbox controller
No connected by USB and having the problems

So weird. To test things, I've been playing for a while with my Xbox controller linked to my Steam Deck via Bluetooth and I've had no issues with it so far. Maybe it's an issue with Steam? 
Ps. I'm playing a brand new Expedition save for reference.
No, no. It is an issue with that particular save. It doesn't happen in other saves.
the exocraft thing hasn't been fixed, it keeps switching to the Minotaur from the Pilgrim whenever I land on the planet I've built the geobays on

what's this? my controller has been weird in game today, suddenly stopping working and I've only been able to get the game to recognise it again by restarting my pc
I don't think it's my controller, I think it's the game not recognising it's connected suddenly
It is the game not recognizing the controller all of a sudden, for some really weird reason.
For graphics drivers, the game doesn't like the latest versions. I suspect it's the same for controller drivers.
But I don't use a controller, and I don't want others to experiment with driver installations unless they are confident enough to tackle the issue.
The new patch has fixed a few things but it also has introduced new bugs.
seems so unfortunately, luckily my graphic drivers are ok and I'm not crashing
wish they would fix the graphics tho, water and lods are still looking bad
A few of the critters I've found are stripped of hair for some reason. You'd expect them to flaunt a beautiful coat of colorful fur but nope, all they have is a beautiful, specular, colorful skin.

No clue how long it'll take. The last set of patches took a few releases to Experimental before they made it to Public. It's all up to HG. But it's definitely awesome they got an incoming fix!

We had like 5 experimental builds before this patch went live
i was not able to repro this after 1h30m of play with my xbox controller, with my main save (started with the Beyond update) while still on 100867 build.
Don't worry about it - Apparently there is already a fix on Experimental...

100867 was the same build for steam public
steam exp got pushed to 100958 just a few mins ago
was just being a bit more accurate so we know which build i tested on

Found a potential bug, need confirmation
In the observatories (possibly other planetary structures with Atlas Pass V2 locked rooms) it's possible to find a room with hanging Sentinel Quad model
I found one such room and walking around it I hit an invisible wall between a corner and a desk
Funnily enough the desk itself does not collide with my character
Another possible bug
When enemies get paralyzed by stun gun fired by exomech AI, the cross hair get animated like it was the player who dealt the damage
Actually the same happens when enemies get hit my exomechs mining laser fired by the AI pilot
latest hotfix is for the controller issues, I'll check it out tomorrow. so 🤞

this happens to me literally every time, no matter what, it's completely unusable
No, I played yesterday a bit with my exomech, going in and out few times, had no issues like that
We don't have issue like that listed, so maybe @fickle hinge can add it to the list
Avoid first person view while in the exocraft. It's a known bug, but it wouldn't hurt to report to Hello Games to raise visibility to it. I'll post helpful links (also pinned) for submitting bug reports

is this a new bug? When I fuel up a portal and go to my destination I used to be able to use the portal without refuelling pre-Fractal for a number of times before I needed to refuel...
Now I have to fill up the portal everytime.. Bug or new playstyle?
It's happened to me in other modes. Sometimes portal fuel is lost for some odd ||and annoying|| reason.
Yeah so add a +1 for me... Annoying as I am portalling to planets to upgrade the new ship... 🙂

opening the galaxy map when you previously had a filter selected will automatically open with that filter applied, even though filter is set to default

Meaning if I had set it to lifeform and I close and open the map the filter will show default (no filter) but the map itself will reflect “lifeform” filter applied?
by normal I mean "happens when not warping"

When players bring up bugs in this thread, please remind everyone to remind everyone that they must submit bug reports via Hello Games' Zendesk. You can point newer players to Pins and the !HelloGames command so they get all the info needed for the reports to be most helpful.
At this point it's going to be hard to gauge if some of the inconsistencies described by everyone here really started with 4.1.
I'm not even sure if it's worth adding items to the existing list going forward.
To make it more manageable, perhaps we should narrow it down to the most critical or game breaking issues, if they're experienced by a larger percentage of the player-base and if we feel confident they were introduced with 4.1. Otherwise you / we may go mad trying to maintain that list

I am glad too. She’s getting old now, any bad change in her health is scary 😦

Hmm! The random crashes are one of the major issues.
What I meant is if it's not a game breaking bug and/or something experienced by a larger percentage of the player-base, we'll be best off not adding to the list. Especially stuff we can't really verify was caused by 4.1.
We can certainly continue to discuss bugs in this channel and offer reminders to newer players to report things to Hello Games. But trying to track our own list here is a lot of maintenance.
Oh, yes. I agree. Especially about trying to figure out whether a bug is pre or post 4.1 update. Instead of adding more to the list I want to make it shorter now. 😅

Possible bug? Can't really think of a way to recreate it so I don't know if caused by mods or not but

The game uses Vulkan which allows for low-level GPU shader programming. I suppose they're mentioning a bug in the shader code?

Possible visual bug - fog effect found on Breached biome (the one with Light Fissure glitches) flickers in and out of existence

Someone told me that the freighter refiner glitch (where you lose the contents when you leave the freighter) had been patched. I just tested it with putting stuff in it I have way too much of and the glitch is still there...
Note: I was not playing on experimental.

Staying in multiplayer itself could be the culprit.
Here’s what I think of NMS multiplayer
NMS is a single player game, it was always intended to be a single player game.
But some players wanted multiplayer so they made a mod that allowed peer to peer and some other multiplayer functionality
Just like Skyrim
But doing that and being in multiplayer
It just breaks everything
So, I strongly suggest only exploitation and base building on planets when you’re going multilayer mode.
For everything else stay single player

Actually, NMS needs a multiplayer overhaul where all these bugs will be fixed. I know multiplayer was never kept in consideration when NMS was just launched but the bugs can be kinda annoying haha

I mean we should always play NMS in single player mode. Multiplayer disabled in network settings. In case we want to play multiplayer we should limit our activities to base building and simple explorations only. No laylaps, no freighter rescue, no missions whatsoever. Nothing other than base building and PvP and exploration.

Found a bug where pressing "Inspect freighter" simply restarts the freighter captain's dialogue
all i remember doing was inspecting the freighter then leaving, summoning my freighter and landing in it to take the tech off to put in the new one then going back

came back and each time i pressed inspect freighter he'd do a gesture and start his "good job!" dialogue
was capital freighter, post battle

oh, forgot the "store tech step" - uhm, yeah, but doing everything else like you said, i could not repro - ncp captain still allowed me to grab the rescue reward or the freighter itself if i wanted. testing in single player
Ok, so the stuff that disappeared in my freighter refiners suddenly reappeared when I enabled multiplayer again, so I decided to try to reproduce this glitch.
To reproduce this glitch:
Step 1: Disable multiplayer
**Step 2: ** Put stuff in your freighter refiner and refine it and teleport to a random location with your teleporter.
Step 3: Teleport back to your freighter
From here two things can happen:
Outcome 1: If you teleport back you find your stuff in another refiner, in case you have more than one.
Outcome 2: You don't find your items back at all.
In case of outcome 2 procede to step 4:
Enable multiplayer and reload your save. You should be able to find your stuff again in one of the refiners.

It's rather interesting that enabling multiplayer fixes the issue while disabling it causes it.

I think the latest hotfix on Steam fixed the issue with navigational markers getting deployed each time a player highlights something in the visor
I'll check and confirm that because that's been bugging me no end

I ran into that refiner bug a lot over last few days. I wasn't sure if it was just placement of my refiner or the angle I was looking at it, but it seems if you open the menu (up or down d-pad), then I can access the refiner again
Just got another Switch update.
And Switch 4.1.5 was just released. Anyone know where we can see the change log for switch releases? I read that Switch 4.1.4 was the same as 4.15, so that would mean that 4.1.5 would put us one patch ahead of the other systems (or maybe it was a one off, Switch only patch)?
yeah, but Switch numbering is different (for whatever reasons). For Switch, 4.1.4 is the same as 4.15. And we just got another patch this morning, so that puts Switch ahead by 1.
They don't say anything for the Switch stuff, except once

All we actually have is their versioning numbers, my guess is you have been behind, not ahead

Also, the 4.15 fixes were inside of our 4.1.4 patch. For example, the "return to Anomaly" menu choice, which appeared in our 4.1.3 patch (your 4.14 patch) was removed in 4.1.4 (your 4.15).
