Game has a ton of potential but the developer is way in over his head. He promised a ton of stuff but has decided he's slowly bringing development of the game to end leaving a lot of promised content/features missing from the game.

Game is based around mining and factory automation, when items you need to mine and the stuff you're mining just straight up yeets itself in to space or falls below the map, it loses it's fun quite quickly.

@cinder vessel Interstellar Rift MP is online with public servers or optionally, you can host your own. Server limitations are there. I've heard also that there are bugs (surprise!), but I've mostly played the game just to sandbox build a working space ship and pretend to be a crew member for a ship all by myself.
MP is Co-Op or PVP, and connected to the server type, so keep that in mind when choosing a server to join.
I haven't played Interstellar Rift in a couple weeks. I spent a solid week just building ships, but then quickly realized that's literally all the game has to offer.
I don't know why I bought Starship Evo. It's the same problem, but I just like the art.
and the developer was super impressive
Though the ability to land and build cars, etc kind of already beats Interstellar Rift on that versatility alone.

Played Watch dogs legion a bit more today. Game is buggy as hell lol. From lagging into walls and ending up inside of the building assets that have no interiors (requiring suicide to exit), to random crashes to desktop...
Fun times!
Fortunately, the developers made suicide easy. The interior of buildings with no actual interior almost all have holes into the void space
