Finally picked up Pokemon Shield. So far I'm bored...and I dislike the music. Which is heartbreaking for me, since I normally adore the music in pokemon games.
Wonder trade is also broken as fuck. Didnt even leave the first town for a while and I catalogued over 60 pokemon. I probably could have gotten most of the pokedex done if I hadn't gotten bored. I got a Litten tho and a shiny ponyta

Yeah but you get access to a daycare once you leave the first town, so you can breed most pokemon, but most of the pokemon I received were under lvl 10. Some were lvl 100 and named machamp.com

Criticism of Rage 2: So far, game feels "okay". Combat is engaging enough, but I hate how much of a sponge the enemies are. Their difficulty is less a challenge and more an annoyance.
The RP elements feel tacked on like an afterthought.

I spent fifteen minutes just ramming into some lady in a bar just because unlike most NPC, she seemed to (albeit passively) acknowledge my existence.

World is beautiful enough. Camera angles are irritating. The road marker being stuck to the road and not floating means you have to stair at the road itself to navigate, while utter chaos reigns around you.
Unlike most games that do forced first person for immersion, I suspect force first person in this game actually takes you out of the world. I have yet to feel like a character in that world I'm destroying - even pretentiously. I remember in Skyrim, third person while it somewhat set you aside from your character, at least made it feel believable that they existed in the world for the sense that everything responded to it. In Rage 2, it's literally Doom in an open world setting.

I beat the main story in starbound and lost interest in it. I know some people love the whole exploration aspect of the game, but I found it...meh. Same enemies with different sprites. The annoyance of cave lighting. The inability to swing in the direction your character is facing unless your mouse is always in the direction you're facing meant you had to constantly move the mouse around the screen just to turn around and hit someone.

- A dodge mechanic that allows you to dodge into the background a'le "Blackthorne" style, for more epic melee combat instead of requiring me to bounce around like a rabid rabbit
- Legitimate stair landings so I can walk passed a flight of stairs without going up them unless I hold the up direction at the same time
- A fix for melee so it does not default to the same aiming mechanic used for guns, rather it swings in whatever direction you're facing no matter where your mouse is on the screen. To turn, just close the window for the range required to shift the mouse to a very small degree.
