This whore of a game was tolerable up to this point, but nope. Line was clearly drawn, and I clearly crossed it, and now I'm paying for it with my sanity.
Everything that this fkn thing could do to prolong the suffering, has been done.
Souls like boss fight? Check. unskippable 30 sec cutscene every time you die? Check. You can get one shot the moment you enter the fight? Check. No way in fucking hell to have enough ammo, forcing you to buy dozens of ammo packs? Check. Boss literally having a billion hp? Check. At least 2 phases, one easy, but time consuming, that can't be skipped after you've dealt with it? Check. And of course, to top it off, I wasted like solid 20 minutes to get this bitch to half HP, one mistake, get one shot, it's all back to phase one, with full hp. So full health regeneration every defeat. Check.

The Shining is a disjointed mess but after having read the book I prefer the movie 100% and feel the disjointed feel actually adds to the whole thing. King is too in love with his own ideas and too busy explaining himself. Kubrick just rolls with it

Have you read much of King's stuff? My mother adored him so I sort of just read him to be studious with her. The only book of King's I truly loved every part cover to cover was way off his brand: The Eyes of the Dragon.

The environments looks alive, people going in and out of buildings and such, but most of the buildings cant be in

Yeah the gameranx review of Control was a shining idolatry of everything Control had in its repertoir. One thing they made a point to mention was that sense of destruction you get even after the fight, like you'd just walked through the rubble of an obliterated office building lobby at the climax of The Matrix series.

Outriders storywise, sounds like they took the plot of the movie Annihilation, inverted the plot, made humans the aliens as if they landed on some planet that had the same powers of the aliens in Annihilation and set them loose to fight over it
Conceptually, if that's the case - It could promise to become something much much larger than it's presented. I love mystery and a game with a power that introduces unlimited levels of mystery...That's my bread and butt.
I only hope it doesn't end up being a glorified doom with magic powers.

Almost all the nexus mods for max are graphics related. I want a mod for physics. Or a mod that applies greater impact physics to death blows in combat. That way, if a character dies on a hit, it no longer just falls over, but gets blasted by your fists as it's no longer resisting the urge to resist.

and suddenly stuff ticks, you find out, that you can use key to unlock doors, you finally notice, that you have inventory, that other keys have names in their descriptions, that locked houses have name plates above them, try to figure out sprites, and see what they do, trial and error through the entire game, kinda, almost, not really, never finished it. 😄

Pizza Connection 2, one of my fav games, what I liked the most about it? The fact that you could design your own pizzas. For example just plop an entire octopus on raw dough, and call it quits.
I even won once, crushed every competition, earned true monopoly, and recently tried to play the game, and I have no idea how I did that.
There's so much stuff you have to take into account, preferences of different customer groups, advertising, trends, that sort of stuff.
Meanwhile I'm pretty sure I just brute forced myself to the top. Just played a sims game, placed furniture, designed nice looking pizzerias, razed a couple buildings, bought a couple billboards, cause they were nearby, and harassed the living shit out of my competition. 😄
I remember how you could hire dudes to tag competitions walls, release cockroaches, even plant bombs. Think you could shoot the place up as well? But don't quote me on that.
