so far the loot and stuff hasn't really bothered me at all, it's not super over the top and is pretty well done aside from dumb stuff that exists in other games, like "you have upgrade modules to make something stronger but why would you use it on something weak when you pick up something better 10 mins later"
the combat is super fun, all the heroes feel pretty different. Kamala is probably my favorite so far though

i took my light fighter and faced 4 enemy fighter craft and 7 turrets
and these enemies btw had no qualms about stopping in front of me to cause collision damage
by the time i died i had used 4000+ of 7200 rounds of ammo
and only killed 3 of them
the mission was to destroy all enemies
couldn't for the life of me figure out how to fire a missile
because the mapped control didn't do it
kinda reminded me of the 1 time i went into ground combat and accidently made "too much noise" so the AI character instantly pulled a 180 and headshotted me

They have different types of gameplay styles. Your scores can vary based on playstyle. The above video was High chaos stealth. Meaning everyone knew something was there but nobody saw it coming. Low chaos means nobody knows and nobody sees...and of course you can have low chaos stealth with no kills.
