I'm interested in finding resources on the research if it exists.

I don't know of any actual sources, and anything I've seen if that nature is fan theory and people making the connections on their own. Marko isn't that direct about most of his stuff so finding sources explaining it all usually ends up with him saying something along the lines of "it can be interpreted differently by everyone"

I know there's some kind of fast travel in morrowind as well, but it's not nearly as convenient as in later instalments, plus dunno but map from morrowind seemed fkn colossal when compared to oblivion for example.

Pretty sure you can't just go from one town to any other towns, rather you have to follow a elaborate network of jumping between towns. Plus early on, you don't know any names, you don't have any cash, ye.

I liked in hellion you have to use gravity to chart your space course and "fling" yourself around slingshot off planets, fuel being very limited. Thought that was great.
