Played a bit of Grounded. Looks very promising. Not a fan of the camera being attached to your spine such that your entire character turns when you look around, but it's w/e. Also not a fan of the xbox online bs which means I can't even report bugs unless I set up an xbox live account.

Gameplay is fun, and different. Graphics are nice. The concept seems an excellent execution of an old idea with a promising story element.

it's only a big deal for people who are on steam and also don't want to log into something else, which is apparently a lot of people given how EGS is viewed by some lol. But it's on Gamepass (both PC and Xbox) so it doesn't seem way off base that it's using Xbox accounts for things.

Tip: Avoid killing ants. They seem to communicate that you suck to their entire colony if you do....and huge ants will come after you.

I think the avenger is probably the least offensive of all these (2nd image I posted)

Yeah. That's why I don't like space sims. I like when games are gamified and not super realistic which is why I gravitate towards no man's sky, but it excites me to see what they're doing with their planets

What would be great is if they got really imaginative with their ships and tried a far future alien ship that was much more user-friendly and a lot easier to fly than any of the others

Maybe even completely avoid text

#

This way they wouldn't only be drawing the hardcore space Sim players but people who want to take it more easy

#

Also, random, but it's annoying when exploration and variation is brought up in the nms chat and it devolves into basebuilding desires
