So, I've been playing Greedfall now for about two days. The RPG elements are rudimentary at best. The NPC are peppered without reason throughout all populated towns making their presence jarring and uncoordinated. Instead of making the areas they're in look bustling with life and activity, they look like depressing insane asylums full of placeholders. The lines are all delivered with about as much enthusiasm as a dog trying to upsell being neutered to himself. Lovely graphics though.
So far the story has not been very compelling, but admittedly, I'm doing side stuff almost entirely right now.
The combat is fun though.
I enjoy it alot.
The loading between zones through, I don't enjoy at all. It feels like everything is instanced.

I get the distinct impression the game was built with multiple maps and they couldn't be fucked to create a cohesive connection between them
