I didn't say it can't be done. I said it's not practical. The whole point of procedural generation is to make games more replayable and the point of hand crafted is to make them more interesting.. If you improve one significantly, it solves the problem of the other.

Underwater ironically terrifies me no matter the game. I just have an inherent fear of the water and the dangers that lurk within from any direction, above or below. But that's why it does feel good to overcome my fears, but games dedicated to such might be too much for me lol. Though I do wish NMS has deeper waters, only certain areas are kind of deep. And I do miss when there were basically sharks that would stalk you while you were on the shoreline, found myself stranded on a rock surrounded by like 5 things that wanted to eat me lol.

It seems like it lol, that and Raft would certainly be enough for me lol. Any water portion of any game is usually enough for me lol, but whole games? Phew. I was even afraid of the water in From The Depths.. which try as I may is just a voxel builder game I could not for the life of me even figure out how to get basic stuff going lol. Like I get voxel games take a lot of reading but they need to be simple and user friendly too to at least get started.
For those who enjoy space Voxel games I have a list that I keep track of. StarMade, Empyrion, Space Engineers (in order of experience/hours), Starship EVO, Avorion (in order of ones I look forward to checking out). Just something interesting about crafting your own ship, or improving it, or trouble shooting, repairing, upgrading, or just getting the stats exactly how you would like them.
