If you aren't a part of the show, you become that amigo that dropped the soap everyone mocks...So each event whatever role you chose to take in the part of the main story unfolding impacts how the world observes you.

It's been like this since launch. They launch DLC, then a month later they launch a special chapter that expands the DLC map.
Then they launch a new DLC and a month later launch a special chapter that expands the DLC map.
Every significant update has included these elements of extra DLC that cost money ontop of the expansions
It would cost you $160 out of pocket ontop of buying the game to get all the DLC that is locked behind additional paywalls, and that's including discounts.
and that's a conservative estimate.
There's a reason for this mind you. They're trying to use this over priced crapshoot as an incentive for people to buy a subscription model.

so i have two counters going, the feather counters from the enchantment giving the birds +1/+1 for every death, and bird token counters being added by the sorcery and this creature

I tried it in early access because I was itching for a cowboy game. The community were nice folks by and large and you could build some sweet cowboy houses in a decent looking country land.
The game needs some narrative motivation and they tried to add it through sub contextual incidents as you're playing...less a quest and more a nudge...

They want it to be a sandbox but with lore in it that you can sort of explore, discover and fight over.
It was buggy af tho. Laaaaaaaagged to hell with populated servers. You couldn't have your own private server back then and all servers were published to a central lot which presented for some serious problems with cheaters
