I never played 1 but played a ton of Ghost Recon Wildlands and a friend of mine suggested I try Division 2. The weapon customization is pretty similar across both games but I think I prefer Division 2’s loot and random stats.
I'm having a ton of fun with it. It's the first game for a while that I'm counting down to free time so I can play.
I only got base game cause I didn't think I was going to enjoy it this much so do need to grab Warlord DLC still.

yeah, if it's gonna be your first time using VR that's probably the best way of doing it tbh

hell, even parts of hl1/black mesa left me a bit unnerved tbh
then again I was kinda used to seeing fast headcrab zombies at that point from gmod, I didn't get around to playing hl2 until like 3ish years ago
I've kind of come to think of it like something someone said a while back(might've been someone here actually), they were basically saying that gmod kinda 'ruined' HL2 for them when they were playing it
because we know Gman is supposed to be a serious character but they can't help but imagine seeing him with a traffic cone on his head welded to a rocket-powered bathtub with the dumbest grin on his face
