for me it was the fact that skill progression was largely set & forget. Not even grind, really, just a dumbass timer for training skills, unless I missed something or it changed since then

if anyone hasn't heard of this, its a crafting/building game where you go to your dad's workshop in a post apocalyptic world and help the town of Portia be in better shape
pretty decent, but a slow burn game and if you try rushing it you will get bored as a lot of the crafting/processing is time gated to the game clock (1 second irl=1 min in game)
its kinda similar to Stardew Valley, but farming is not the main focus of the game but instead making a lot of varied crafting benches and refiners (and later on, factory setups too) and using the products to craft items the citizens/town needs in way of commissions
oh also they reward you for exploration and even going in places you thought you shouldn't be going to
and there's no difficulty to the game: there's no penalty for not sleeping on time, you can eventually have a huge storage size, there's barely any consequence for death (there's combat in the game), all the story bosses are just sponges and if you die you just come back with full health and a few metres away from the arena
