Like you have to kill 50 enemies with the starter weapon to unlock the second one, and kill certain amounts of people with that to unlock attachments for it

There's only three attachments per weapon, I'm not entirely sure most of em are even visible. They do stuff like let you zoom in further or have more firing time before your gun overheats

It's just a wee bit unfair for new players, they can shoot someone 4 times in the head at medium range with their sniper then get one-shot from a fuckin monstrous rifle like two miles away
It's the same with all the other classes in the game, if you play as the Assault class you get stuck with a standard blaster rifle while people who played longer get three round burst ones and wreck you before you take out half their health

EarthBound is worth playing through- use a save editor if things get too repetitive, or use a speedhack hotkey to speed through random encounters
Might be worth saying EB has some anti-grind features, like lower-level enemies are automatically calculated as wins, automatic options in the battle system, etc
But overall Mother 3 might be the most polished to play

But other than that I miss being able to trade rucksacks, I miss equipping side weapons like ice picks, knives, stuff like that.
and i surely miss visible weapons on characters back.

Those side weapons don't matter at all, you know? But it was that fun little roleplay thing I had. Leaders and important people, they were given combat knives, symbol of status. Rest had whatever they could get, screwdrivers and such.

Enemy grooup includes a flame temptress (caster) with a hit-all fire/curse spell.
Kill most of the enemy group before they can attack.
Temptress survives and gets the attack off, hits the first three teammates, fails to curse, triggers Harbingers sleep retaliation ability, falling asleep, ending its attack cycle, and triggering the fencer's on-disable chain attack, killing the temptress```There aren't AI officially, just through mods. It's funny seeing the multiplayer complaints being the same complaints as one year ago.
I got zero interest in the multiplayer side of things so that won't affect me personally.
It's just funny to me, released the game a year ago and the problems are still there on a +12 month platform launch. Doesn't fill me with total confidence. 😛

They gave up fixing multiplayer on pc, not sure why. They tried fixing it 3x and couldn't get it to work any better. It works fine on console tho, it's weird

If you don't care about multiplayer Ashen is worth it tho, I had a blast with it. It has Souls combat that makes you play carefully and deliberately and the world is 👌
