However I did dabble with changing the PS4 output resolution to 720p to see if that might help, but it didn't seem to make enough of a difference to keep it that way

By the time you get to Monarch you're already level 22 ||

The gameplay itself is solid and cartoony, there's just nothing to do besides sail around and collect treasure to buy cosmetics. There's different ways to get treasure but they're all variations of "Go to Point A and bring thing to Point B"
