Right now it just sounds faintly like NMS stuck on one world with a more robust story (which isn't saying much) and involved traversal, but with significantly worse pacing for that story and seemingly just as shallow side tasks.

I went to the ruins, to kill time, had to take care of something, forgot it's still 28'th, cause technically it was past the midnight, and it fucking said it's 1'st of winter, 2'am. So it checks out, but it still was 28'th, and if I'd go to sleep i'd wake up on 1'st still, just later. Just I didn't know that, panicked, and restarted the day. Forfeited some rare relics I managed to dig up. Just, fucking hell, why does it say it's next day, when it is only theoretically. In practice it still was 28'th.
Like, Stardew Valley for example I'm 99% sure always states your current day, no matter if it's past midnight or not.
