I'm gunna be watching progression of I:B for sure but I'm not 100% sold on it. To me personally, there is a lot of missed opportunity by just focusing on PvP combat.
Even a story mode (which has been confirmed not happening) would open this game a to a whole new audience.

They put a surprising amount of effort into putting him in the game, if you shoot/get shot by anyone else bullets make the usual gross fleshy noises but shooting the T-800 makes metal sounds and sparks fly off of him. And he has some kind of oil instead of blood, lol

||That attack is the first time the Swarm use those flying things that hijack robots and they have a LOT more troops than anyone's ever seen before. It scares everyone enough that they send Kait and Del out to bring Outsiders home to New Ephyra||

@iron inlet I main Way of a Thousand Cuts, so the Spathe giving me two knife throws means I can dump a ton of damage on something quickly. Combine that with the Playing With Fire perk in the Thousand Cuts skill tree and I can basically just toss fans of knives 24/7 😆

Ideally you make all options feel good, ranged/magic/melee, but if you can't, you make the ones that feel good your main options and minimize those that don't
Like in Skyrim, you can do melee if you like, but it's also very quickly possible to just go with the better feeling, again imo, ranged options, including magic

I've never really found a "feel good" magic pack with MC. Like, there are magic packs, but give me something that lets me turn into this badass wizard and never pick up a sword again.
