I still find myself revisiting older games a lot so I find the idea that they don't hold up laughable, except as already noted, in terms of resolution support.
There's also some general accessibility & QOL features we've come to take for granted as well, but these can be chalked up to hardware limitations, in some cases, e.g. not using internal hard drives so relying on memory cards instead made autosave features awkward/clunky

Yeah I didn't use it in combat, I used Yrden+its alt ability and lots of fast attacks with bleeding damage. I basically just based my build on light attacks, dodging, Yrden, and lots of bleeding damage. Mastercrafted Feline gear was 👌

So this replacement copy I picked up the other day? It may have been totally fucking fine on original hardware, but because I'm a dumbass and was checking this stuff out amidst weird work schedule & feeling lazy or whatever, I just didn't check it, returned it & chalked it up as fucked
This is only hitting home to me now because I found another replacement copy in nearly pristine condition & ran into the same obnoxious issues I was noticing before and just knew then & there, "Oh fuck me, this is the emulator at fault"

In the city you have to use the elevated train lines and random metal beams to move about, you can go to ground level but it's limited. Run in, collect, run out kinda thing.

Hey anyone that can explain why my screenshots look so much different than what I'm seeing in the game? I'm playing with HDR on in Days Gone, and there is a huge lighting difference with screenshots

Being able to hack most things and lift most things and basically just go anywhere I want right off the bat is a bit OP, I've only gotten far enough to fix the Looking Glass systems and I already have 150 shotgun rounds, my shotgun almost fully upgraded, and 20+ medkits
Time to re-download Arkham Knight so I can finish my trilogy playthrough, I just finished Return to Arkham

@cinder vessel remember that review of Days Gone, where the guy said he didn't find hordes? He was an idiot, I have found 4 hordes, just driving along to missions
You can't even fast travel on some paths, until you clear infestations out
I really like how they have their menus set up also - using the touch pad, swipe right for map, up for story missions, left for inventory, and down for skills
It's fast, and slick

The section I'm in has 8 hordes listed though (as in there is a checklist for total completion of the area) I doubt they patched those in, but you do have to look a bit, or be in the area at the right time. They were probably too busy rampaging through the story to meet their deadline, to find them before they actually become a side mission

I find it curious that some reviews are very harsh, some are very good, and some mediocre - metacritic has it at a 72 - user reviews have it 8 out of 10

I think it's capped at 8 which really is enough, with each new follower brings an increase in the required food and resources.
I got 5 followers and I've ran low on resources a couple of times, overall moral has stayed happy though so nobody is fighting yet.

Can give them a queue of jobs to do or let them do their own thing, I got a couple on auto who are out hunting and gathering and a couple on a permanent queue system and one that follows me around.
