the other awkward part beyond the line reads/recording direction in ME1 is the anims
at least on the PC version there are the occasional little stutters/cuts in the anims (not the audio) throughout the dialog

Like, you can talk to him after each mission and learn about his background (takes like 5 minutes each time) and get the mission after 3 or 4 conversations or get your Charm maxed (which takes for friggin ever, lol). One or the other is needed for Virmire tho
