Damn, the guns look like they handle pretty decently. Wasn't expecting the shooting to be like modern first-person shooters. I'm interested in the weapon companies, it sounds like Borderlands. For me, it's one of those games that I can play for a few weeks and then shelve again for a couple months

Yeah from what I understand they created a hardware implementation of it, which is the reason it's being marketed. It's like how the xbone x has hardware support for direct x, removing the overhead created by user space implementations that rely on software.

This is not a good comparison, but think of it like dialup vs modern internet. Dialup was slow and relied on using existing phone lines, which created overhead. Modern internet can use fiber optic cables, meant purely for the internet, and as such runs much faster (obviously because it's finer optic as well)
