There's lore, don't worry. Ancient gods, angry alien race that's trying to use the Anthem of Creation for weird reasons, angry human faction that wants to use it as a weapon, etc
The Ripstream is a fun thing the Anthem made that annihilates anything that flies too high
This is a Bioware game, they know how to make a good game universe

for the people who want it, maybe. I've learned to watch as little as possible and avoid demos because those moments are usually the parts that grasp me and pull me into the experience. When Destiny released their demo or beta or whatever, I played, and I didn't really care for having to play it again on the release of the game.
