i'm really curious about that
will they stay in the spirit of the thoughtful exploration of the past titles, or shift it towards a more typical FPS? š¤
Worlds Will Change. Will You? #TheGameAwards will stream live on 40 global video platforms on Thursday, December 6. Watch it everyone, with the largest lineup of new game announcements in show history. https://t.co/At1nWSA6xm

this is a bold statement to make
well not really "bold"
you just posted what i was gonna say
but still
they're just saying they're announcing more new things than any other previous tga
last years was a pleasant surprise with bayo 3 and the zelda dlc
but this could be sweet
watch it just be an extended Death Stranding cut
i'd be fine with that
Or bayo3
Yeah never played
dont hurt me
i would love to see some surprise announcement from outta nowhere, like NMS way back when
They teased it last year tho
that's the thing, i want to see something else like that
ye
something that's just like, "WAIT WHAT?"
also celeste deserves to take home at least one award, definitely my GOTY
I'd be down for some more mp4 info
rdr2 was underwhelming
i voted for it [Celeste] where i could just 'cause, lol
I chose God of War for GOTY
Celeste that is
all the problems modern rockstar games suffer from were incredibly present in rdr2, the down time between missions kills all the fun
the story and writing are top fucking notch, but the world just feels like a back drop to the story more than anything
My refund got denied so I played a bit more. It's good, but doesn't beat out GoW for me
GoW was the first game in a long time to glue me to my couch for an entire weekend
still didnt play gow yet
If you're into norse mythology and feeling like an absolute badass, def try it
might check it out
They added NG+ as well
animal crossing would also be pretty dope at tga
Ah yeah some more footage
nah now im just spitballing here
Next pokemon
some footage at all lol
they're not gonna do new pokemon
VR was a tough choice, but I went with Tetris Effect, despite really liking Moss as well
unless its actually fucking different from the past 5 years of pokemon i'll be interested
botw style gameplay x pokemon please oh god
sun & moon was pretty different, although the core gameplay was the same
I'm excited to see what they can do with a full switch pokemon game
i played sun for 3 hours, realized i was still in the tutorial and refunded it
I do have a hard time believing they'll stray too far
I enjoyed sun
I just love Pokemon tho
i like suns soundtrack
I'd like a 3d mystery dungeon type game
btw Zoid, if you were ever to get some type of VR I think you might enjoy Moss. Cute little mouse fighting bugs & solving some simple puzzles
In terms of controlling the pokemon rather than a dude
i used to really like pokemon, idk now its become really stale
and I have seen some of that, once I get VR eventually I may check it out
I keep thinking about jumping back into PokƩmon but the games practically never go down in price, lol
And while I know I probably would enjoy them, I know they play it kinda safe
Yeah
Huh, interesting
ultra were done by new ones to my understanding
I was only thinking the main series. The spinoffs are a fair amount more interesting
didn't they do a dungeon style spinoff not too long ago?
I vaguely remember something about exploring caves
Oh yeah, I think that may be it
Yeah those have been around for a long time
remember that one game
There have been a few iterations
the game
ok good
god bless tik tok
I'm kinda excited for Digimon Survive
I'm interested
I actually kinda like Digimon more than Pokemon
There just aren't as many good/polished games
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth is pretty decent
so how about that gerry rafferty baker street sax solo
š¤

thats a good one
I'm preparing myself for RDR2 to win every category it's nominated for tho lol
Even tho I didn't choose it for any of them
It has its audience, which is quite large. Just not my type of game.
maybe im just really impatient
yea the 10 minute horse rides between missions are BS
I don't have a lot of time to play games so all of the smaller things that add up to slow you down make it hard for me to commit time
Like a lot of people say "lol it only takes 2 seconds" but when everything takes 2 seconds and you need to do it all 1000 times it def adds up
also i guarantee if it was on PC i would think much better of it
I might be more into it on PC. Not sure I'd spend the money again tho, if it releases there.
nintendo is gonna have a hay day in 2019 by the looks of it
animal crossing, metroid, fire emblem
gimme Code Vein
etc
Code Vein seems interesting
Other things interest me more but I've been following it a bit
damn i gotta beat all the DS games before code vein
KH3
and god eater 3 eeeeee
KH3 2019 LETS GO BOY

Snake eater
Oh yeah
mgs2 > mgs3
Skip I'll beat GE2 so we can play 3 together maybe
yeeeee
how are we all forgetting the biggest release though
New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
OH SHIT
oh i was gonna say Resonance of Fate Remastered
toadette in mario bros OK
You jest but I do always like Mario games, even if this is just a rerelease
yeah...
Anthem
Days Gone looks 4 years too late to me imo
it also looked really janky from the gameplay i saw
Dying light did it very well
I have nothing bad to say about Anthem or Days Gone, they just don't excite me at all
Well that was early, and it still looked better than most early gameplay imo
I'm mildly optimistic about anthem
After the latest dev streams I'm more excited for Anthem
ive given up hope for anthem bcs bioware and ea
I think I'd find more fun in Anthem over Days Gone
Lol what
i definitely would
regardless of if the gameplay of Days Gone ends up being good, i'm just tired on the whole zombie thing for now
which is what i meant by being 4 years late
they already said everything in Anthem is cosmetic and all earnable in game anyway, aside from the preorder bonus
And the devs have been very vocal on Twitter about not locking story behind DLC
Days Gone puts me in the mind of a cross between Walking Dead and that biker show that was sorta popular for awhile
Let's not forget Fallout 76 which comes out in like 15 minutes
that one walking dead game just came out the other day to like no fanfare too
That's not 2019
We're late 2018
This is officially 2019
Practically 2019
it's CURRENT YEAR
Oh yeah this is a big server
GIYS
If anyone buys Fallout 76 digital, tell me how big the download is
TWD as a franchise has gone down the fucking drain big time
World War Z game>TWD game
Seems like that's closer to what Days gone will be
It seems fun, though I haven't seen any gameplay
From what's been shown
Perfect for multiplayer
World War Z gameplay looks š
Apparently the whole nuke thing is really hard so that's something neat
Oh, Days Gone reminds me of Walking Dead x Sons of Anarchy, that's the other show I was thinking of
I've watched a few WWZ gameplay videos, I love the zombie physics and gore
walking sons of dead anarchy
yes
breaking bad movie
pink guy!?
green man from its always sunny
isn't Fallout 76 like 90 GB thanks to the day one patch?
ye
nearly 100
Believe so
its still seems to run like shite on console
you need 96gb to install
thicc
don't know how big the actual final size will be though
but the update is literally larger than the disc
Lol
yeah
RDR 2 is still king with 105
disc is 40 something GB
I was originally thinking it was slightly modded files which need to redownload
Wondering what's in the day one patch
I kinda hope it is
my guess it replaces the entire thing
I think Spyro Reignited is like just over 50 GB?
That'll mean digital is smaller than phyiscal
oof
But if it is new content, physical is smaller than digital
Spyro is 45-ish
Holy shit
same
I played some Spyro this morning, it's š
I can't decide which way I want to get it tho
Yeah
Gotcha
If anyone is a trophy hunter, N. Sane Trilogy has 3 plats: one for each game. If Spyro is anything like that, 3 ENTIRE PLATS!!!
im not sure what else to get this year besides smash and 76, but 76 looks iffy and idk
That's cool
I'm a whore for trophies
Smash looks really nice
Part of me is kinda curious about if they'll release another edition of Spyro Reignited with two discs
That World of Light trailer got me hyped
pubg on ps4 launches same day as smash
Though it's not unthinkable
lol
L O L
RIP pubg
no contest
Free tho right?
nope
Huh
Let's Go comes out on friday
I thought they were moving to ftp
as if it isnt already a dead fucking game, then they release it on smash
So did I, 18 years ago
holy shit wait
Bday?
it's even worst than i thought

Yes of course I am the pokeyman
i'm kinda surprised PUBG's still going, but š¤·
what the fuck
Mctx's oh no
$90 for PUBG
rude buster from delta rune
whatever happened with H1Z1, it's still kinda running along yeah?
Not sure
h1z1 is so far gone
Smash Battle Royale when š
Tru
sans undertale in smash>?????!!
I fuckin wish
Ohh I forgot, there's an Avengers game coming out at some point
its good right?
We need to make party rock dance a meme instead of
all of his stuff is original
Oh my fuck it's great

God fuck
Anyway
You CAN ride Rapidash in Pokemon Let's Go
I didn't think you could because fire mane
PUBG is regularly one of the most top played games, so far from dead.
i beg to differ
How can a game be dead with 130,000 players playing at once, not including Xbox?
Just seems like you're using the word "dead" incorrectly, because as I understand it dead means a multiplayer game no one plays, making it mostly unplayable
Such as lawbreakers
RIP lawbreakers
I think that game could have done well if Cliffy B hadnt designed the aesthetic of it
And done the marketing
"I wanna make another billion dollar IP"
well also if it had any design focus
it wanted to not be this but was that and then wouldn't market as what it ended up being more like (i.e. Overwatch-esque)
From arena shooter to class based shooter and ending as a game neither wanted
speaking of wobbly multiplayer games, anyone here bother with Quake Champions?
Dead game.
lol, may as well be from all I know of it
But it sounded like they were turning it around for the full release from beta, then I never saw anything else about it really
904 players
Btw I know we have some Monster Hunter folks in here, any of ya happen to play it more solo & enjoy it?
So not totally gone but not very good either. I hear getting into the mode you want is the real horror
That is, Monster Hunter World, by the by
From what little I played it, I definitely enjoyed it solo more
I've been on the fence about it a bunch, I know I kinda enjoyed the very first one solo
I bet that's just because I only played 10 hours tho. I'm sure multiplayer got more fun
It's got a really nice feel playing solo
But there were moments where it felt like it would be less tedious with another few folks
Not sure if World still has that vibe to it or not
It definitely did, in my experience.
It felt like a game you'd want to play solo, then team up later to take on really challenging stuff for fun
Hmm
Going back over the year's releases to decide what to add to my list to try & snag when on sale soon
God of War.
Wish there was a way for indies to cheaply produce retail copies, then I could tell family what to get me for the holidays if they wanted to, lol
Holidays always make me think about how clumsy digital gifting tends to feel if friends/family don't also play video games
They should sell download cards.
My parents and sister are the same
Like a gift card but it's a download code for a game/games
They do that with AAA games, when it seems like indie games would be a better fit?
Yeah, I've seen those floating around and am like, "okay indies find a way to do that"
I always think "who are these for?"
Grandma just asked for the disc, and everyone else can just... use the internet?
For a brief bit I saw where GameStop was selling some slick looking indies in metal cases and was like, "omg this is right up my alley"
That would be the ideal.
I'm not sure if they still stock those, haven't been around GameStops in awhile
Maybe they will do that stuff more as they scramble to remain relevant
Literally the last couple times I went to GameStop were for No Man's Sky and Tetris Effect, lol
Like selling vinyl
People who love video games also love buying useless things for their shelves
And fancy cases
Instead they're moving more towards figurines & merchandise for games/popular movies/series
And comic books, I hear soon
So. Like. If they could just get into selling games again that would be nice
I bet tabletop games soon
i saw monster hunter somewhere up there š
Imo video games industry should gradually move away from retail discs at release, and release them down the line once they have something resembling a content complete copy
I like art books for games, and some publishers are still doing those I think
I'd buy those too but I'm poor
and yeah Skip I was asking about if Monster Hunter World was still pretty enjoyable solo
I don't own any personally Okapi because I'm in the same boat to a degree
but i know i always look at them from afar and am like if i had some cash to spare
Oh btw apparently Abzu is coming to Switch
for those that want all the things on Switch
Aka everyone who owns a switch
i'm still kinda cracking up at Sony completely missing the boat on handheld simply due to their greed
MHW is totally enjoyable solo
Why was it due to their greed?
Proprietary memory cards instead of more typical SD/microSD cards
tbf i don't think that was the cause of it failing in the west
I always thought the handheld failure was just the Vita and psp failing to get up in culture
It didn't help at all tho Skip
There was no word of mouth
oh yeah it still sucked, but the lack of games with a more western appeal was definitely the bigger issue
Three parts: expensive base unit & expensive expandable storage & no Western-friendly release titles
i love my vita to bits as a more japanese centric gaming machine
Also, Nintendo people would obviously be more excited about handheld gaming
the trick Nintendo pulls is that its games are curiously universally appealing for the most part
Sony just doesn't have much like that
I think a big thing about the switch was it was the first real console handheld
They were like "you can play Skyrim" and it was everywhere immediately
Neither Sony nor Microsoft have any set of games that strongly appeal to both younger & older audiences, imo
It's kinda interesting to think about
except fortnite š
That's not true. Sony has games like Spiderman and God of war
lol
god of war doesn't appeal to young and old
The young don't like god of war?
kids, not teens
My parents wouldn't have let me near it, lol
They like dat Spiderman tho
At least until my teens, yeah
But regardless, what I mean is they don't have a consistent set of games/series
Ya that's true I suppose.
Like what literally keeps Nintendo's hardware selling is their exclusives more than anything, lol
for xbox all i can think of is Halo and GoW
cause even forza's are on PC now
GoW
GoW

lol
And both of those are past their prime
Going to be real interesting to see what all these Microsoft studios make
To be fair, you don't need staple series to work with, but it does appear to help, if Nintendo's anything to go off of
'member Crackdown 3? i 'member
that's slated for next year somewhen, yeah?
yeah
Man, what even happened with Agents of Mayhem
they screwed themselves by not making it a Saints Row game
Oh I know, I meant in development
if it had the name it would've at least sold
Saints Row: Agents of Mayhem, lol
Also I think they really annoyed people by being like "we arent making a new saints row, but then it's so similar to saints row"
then they have more dumb cameos from the Saints I guess
That has a nice ring, actually
they didn't go far enough in either direction
SRAoM looks awful tho
So people who loves saints row are pissed because it's not
And people who don't care about saints row are like "this looks the exact same" (me)
But they really just ran Saints Row off the edge into a reality implosion didn't they
Like what more could they even do with that series
it's a saints row game that's not called one, so people like me who liked the series didn't even know that in the first place and ignored it
i don't get it
I get really bored by super whacky games like that
a semi-spinoff
A semoff
that might've been why they tried to distance it
the whackiness with the Saints Row games really does just kinda overdo it. It's like it works in small doses, not entire game doses
I think they should have tried to make a game like Infamous
It's meant to mock the genre
if I had to guess
Much like borderlands
so like if you play short bursts of them you're probably kinda good? but then...Uhhh...
I only liked saints row 2
all i can find is that saints row 4 sold at least 1 mil copies, and that's just it's first week
It's like watching a comedy marathon, you can only take so much
Wasn't there a fifth or something?
gat outta hell
an actual spinoff
Oversaturation
wait what's Volition up to now? š¤
they're doing, uh
I know they hit a rough spot due to the last couple games not doing so well, but that they're still running
they still exist but nothing announced it seems like
i mean, Agents only came out last year
Did Microsoft get them?
they're owned by Deep Silver
Hmm, should be interesting to see where they go from that. They have a solid team tbh
Were they one of the companies got by Microsoft's spending party?
nope
lolno
Microsoft buys Sony waitwat
imagining the neural implosions from Sony fanboys over that would be great
yeah, so should be interesting
saints row 6 baybeeeeee
they're probably trying to figure out where to go next from Saints Row & such
I'm pretty sure another reason for Agents of Mayhem was that even they were burnt out on Saints Row
I actually watched a video recently by some dude who loved saints row that gave a review on aom
He liked it, but two reasons also is that the game wasn't very good, or at least really flawed
But I think one of the biggest things was that apparently the game released in a really, really bad stats.
state
That was probably the final nail, to be honest. No positive word of mouth
now all i can think about is APB
They fixed it eventually but when there's already no hype or attention, a bad release is death
because i conflate the two for some reason
that makes sense, so there wasn't even fanfare for it being received
completely different note but lol:

behold: the true power of the PS4
"stud farm"

Trailer for Skylight Freerange 2: Gachduine. Footage shown is taken from the Playstation 4 version. https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/skylight-freerang...
oof
also never forget https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uM523jjrvf4
Life of Black Tiger is an interactive adventure story game is set in jungle, field, and forest surroundings. You can have a vivid and realistic experience th...
Haha
i love this one especially because it has a crappy knockoff of a song from an anime
but remember: you can't show anime boobs on the PS4
that's only for the Switch now š
lmao
Steam baybeeeee
Sony's such a fucking shitshow with how they handle whatever's on their store
someone there wants to compete with Steam in the worst possible way
yep it's like...why would you ever want to promote that
i can only imagine they were paid extra and said well fuck it whatever
dude you can get both Skylight Freerange games for $25!
Somebody knew somebody.
First thing that comes up is "worst PS4 game ever"
it's what one of those trailers posted above is of
But at 25 dollars, I'd be losing money NOT buying them
I just didn't bother to read the name, lol
G A C H D U I N E
one day before Smash š«
I don't like smash's dlc model
Also
potted plant as a character??
Why?
Of all things
Piranha Plant deserves it
Waluigi
oh wait, they don't mention the price tho š¤
That dlc is looking like it's shaping up mighty fine too š
Im kinda hesitant on a console version
I hear it released pretty smooth on xbox
I'll wait for reviews to be safe
I'll power through a bad release though, I don't care
š¤
I've been wanting to play that for years.
š¤
Did the same with the long dark
lol Acey & I havin' the same hrm reaction
Haha
iffy releases just make me sad
I need to finish RDR2
No wonder, considering where you hang out
Been dicking around in chapter two way too long
Its one of the lesser buggy survival games on PC, and Xbox went really smooth
So I definitely don't see a 7dtd ps4 release in the future
uhh
7dtd on PS4 was downright not cool.
They sold a broken, bad version of an already janky game
Ooh, okay, I wasn't sure how you meant that at first
I first read it as if you weren't aware it had come out
Also
i remember when I paid for it before it was even on steam...
I have it on my brothers PC now though š
lol
I wish I could get into Warframe
i wish it didn't make me feel like i needed several reference guides to make sense of, lol
I love the complexity of it
I mean, all you have to do is keep playing and things seem to make sense
What I don't like about it is that the combat is so boring and it's so easy
Mainly the easy part
I feel like if a game isn't challenging I have trouble paying attention
what if i want to ever take a break, then i've broken the keep playing and blergh
this is basically why i stopped playing guild wars 2, lol
They rebalanced the game so many times over the last few years lol
The newest update is anything but easy and you can easily get overwhelmed
It's really not
You say that
I mean I've had people say things like that
Yet you just said you couldnāt get into the game
I get it if you canāt click with the game after awhile
I have nearly 2000 actual in-game hours and Iām still not bored
I'll probably try it again eventually
but it better get FUN eventually
cause the beginning is so unfun
Thatās understandable
tried beginning twice, definitely very eh
once when it first was on PS4, later like...Last summer or so?
Once you start to unlock more stuff it starts to come together
I'm really, really surprised it hasn't gotten an ongoing game nomination
Overwatch
Ya but now it's even more ongoing
Lol
Overwatch BABYYY
Overwatch is the bomb
PvP is also the bomb
So is ranked games
I love fighting for a rank
Sorry I canāt enjoy a game that is designed around bottlenecking the other team
I tried Overwatch for a solid week and just got frustrated more than anything
NieR was awesome
Then again Iām a fan of hack n slash games like that
Even though DMC wasnāt well received by a lot of people I liked that one too
Kinda surprised RE7 won VR over Superhot VR
Superhot was interesting
this year I'm hoping that Moss wins for debut indie game
I still never have gotten to try VR
Mostly because I wear glasses and feel like that would interfere
Also if Return of the Obra Dinn doesn't win best art direction, wtf
There are some really strong contenders in that list tho
Is your eyesight the type where glasses are an always-on must?
Re7 deserved VR imo
Yes
Because it was like that type of game everyone always talked about playing in VR
Superhot does more interesting stuff imo
a game game first person
@cinder vessel yes Iām pretty nearsighted :/
Ah, hm. The headsets are built to allow for glasses, but even tho I wear glasses I've never tried VR with them on
Right well lemme put it this way : I hate wearing hats when I have glasses
Just all the extra pressure on the sides of my head and whatnot
Mm, yeah, if you get a chance to try one that would be wise, ya may just not like it all
Yes
Tho I've typically found the pressure is more towards the front & back of my head with PSVR
I have a ps4 pro but probably not enough room in my apartment for the vr
I've a very small room & seated experiences are fine, but standing ones are, uh...Basically a no go tbh
If you can try it before buying definitely recommend that. That's the only reason I got one when it went on sale
I knew I found it more or less comfortable & good looking enough to me
But if I'd never gotten to try it? Definitely wouldn't consider buying it
oh back to the awards stuff...Overwatch shouldn't be up there again imo
same with Rainbow Six: Siege
Yes
i'm kinda on the fence about Destiny 2, but think it shouldn't be up again for the most part
The gameplay loop clicks for some people, and not for others
I find it incredibly boring
i just can't get invested in the world they've built. you need to have played Destiny 1 + its DLC for D2 to really click in the ways they mean for it to
but you can't just go back and play Destiny 1 to catch up, it's too much of an online game to work that way
you had to be tuned in so far as i'm concerned
I just convinced my brother to buy subnautica on PC
I still haven't played that one yet
One of those "what should I buy on steam?" "Uhh you should buy this one game for subnautica, you'd probably really like it"
But I had ulterior motives the whole time, you see
orly
It's like when you get a Christmas gift for someone in your house but it's something you're going to use all the time
Oh definitely.
My Switch was that way. "Yeah, I'm getting this for the kids......"
To be fair, my youngest DOES play it a lot.
the real question is, did you start them on the older systems and graduate them up as they grew older? lol
thats smart
Hah. I actually tried. But they did start on PC, so I guess that's a plus
Oh, mine wasn't an accident lol. Started with an Atari and worked my way up
Like went from Sega Genesis to PlayStation so on & so forth
I was like...Half-paying attention to other platforms back then
I was mostly like, "welp i can't afford anything but what i have here so"
The switch is my first modern system. Haven't had one since a PS2
damn nice
huh
switches are neat
lol
lol im in blight town and im about ready to give up
nothing hurts more than the painful walk back to your souls just to get killed again in the same spot
bloodborne makes the souls games feel like walkin' through swamps
lol
at least it's not Xbox, have you seen how advert-heavy its system menus tend to be? š©
Same with the MSFT store on Windows
i remember my aunts xbox 360 cluttered with ads everywhere
the one time ive ever touched an xbox lol
thankfully Sony mostly keeps that junk in the store
Honestly if I get another console, it'll be a PS4
but they changed the media app thing to also show a bunch of junk from the different streaming services and it's š©
still, at least it's all contained in locations that make sense
Back to my current console - Pokemons this weeeek yay
Let's Go's?
Thursday if ya stay up late š
lol
Truth
and no. This guy already stays up late for work. Not a fan of staying up on my off days
But yeah - I know the Let's Gos are a rehash of Red/Blue, but it'll be cool to show the kids where it all started (more or less)
Oh? I hadn't looked into them so didn't realize they were that
nice
Very. I'm excited. I think my son has forgotten about it, so I"ll surprise him Saturday
Let's Go
Different tack entirely, but anyone here happen to play Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom?
That game just kind of came & went with little talk it seems
I've seen it around a little and it looks really neat
I've not had the chance to play it myself though, mostly because it's "Ni No Kuni II"
It seems like it's not that closely connected to the first?
I don't believe it was.
Most of the reviews look to be more positive than I'd realized š®
Yeah, it was fun. I just have a hard time sticking to RPGs lately.
Even Dragon Quest, which I FUCKING loved, I couldn't play for more than about 4 hours before I put it into the Abyss.
I keep starting & stopping Dragon Quest
That's the thing with some RPG's: they fall on a really niche audience but they're soooo good
I play for what may as well amount to an episode of a show at a time
except the show in this case is somehow like 2-3 hours each episode, lol
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom sounds increasingly up my alley with the curious strategy gameplay elements
Like it's still a RPG, but then there's apparently some weird strategy side? Puts me in the mind of Final Fantasy Type-0
Last time a game had weird strategy elements that were welcome completely, uhhh
Transistor best game
For Dark Souls 2?
someone said DQ
Not super tough, got her on my third try
I've never heard anyone talk about the final bosses and I'd imagine they'd be the hardest fucking thing
Huh
Really? Aww
minus the first bosses, obviously
but there's plenty of difficult bosses
for example in DS2 there's King Vendrick
Who has 32x his normal defense (basically impenetrable) and can onehit you even with high DEF
unless you go through the game and collect 5 Giant Souls which takes him down to his normal defense, where he's still really fucking tough
God damn
But for the most part the bosses aren't too hard?
Still, I'd really prefer it if games had super tough final bosses
There was a point in DS2 in the early game where I was gonna give up
because in Scholar of the First Sin Edition (like, a revised version) they made one of the starting areas stupidly difficult
so you sort of have to skip it when looking at guides and go back later
Huh, well shit
I feel like I'd enjoy Dark Souls if I ever got the chance to play
Bosses are my favouritest thing ever
Honestly if you have a switch, pick up DS:Remastered
the Remastered is incredible on PC, I bet it's equally awesome on switch
just got to blight town and Iām very confused
Howcome?
canāt find the bonfire
oh yeah, it's a messy area
Gamesradar did a great walkthrough
which might help
shame they never did one for DS2 or DS3, because IGN's "Walkthroughs" are garbage
thanks
I should start writing guides
Simple ones that anyone can understand that also want no spoilers
Like a big brother sitting with you telling you where to go because you're oblivious and can't see the door or something
huh....well then.
I've been following Coffee Stain due to their upcoming game.
intentional letterboxing for cinematic effect... cough ******* Info ******* Website + FAQ: https://satisfactorygame.com Steam Store Page: https://store.ste...
Satisfactory
Yeah, š¤
As much as I want a key, I like how they're doing their alpha
Even as it was, it sounded like things were going well, and their trailer looked solid, so I'm fairly confident they may deliver
Oh yeah. That video I posted has some good stuff in it. Can still tell it's an alpha build, but I'm liking what I see. 3D Factorio
Plus even tho I didn't play'em much, the Sanctum games were slick as hell
Agreed
Literally the only reason I didn't is because I didn't really know anyone else to play'em with, lol
And if memory serves they didn't have much to do solo
lol
as to why i got'em at all then...I'm pretty sure it was via bundle, lol
Most likely. That's like.....half my steam list
Oh speaking of! This is a pretty solid lookin' bundle:
https://www.humblebundle.com/games/dystopian-bundle
Hmmm... I'll have to check it out when I get home (and have money lol)
https://www.neogaf.com/threads/a-scum-bug-was-causing-uncontrollable-penis-growth.1468077/ wat? also NSFW, you've been warned
Nice
Nice.
Gotta make dem avatars really close to your own eh?
Legit did a double take on that link.....
yeah, with that title, no wonder why
Dark Souls Three bois š
Why does Todd say starfield is biggest leap in gaming of sci fi rpg type yet per rumors it has 7 or so planet types
š©
Rumor
It's not even close to release anyways. And 7 planets types can be fine if there is a lot of diversity.
R U M O R
Fus Ro Dah in space
Elder scrolls always has like 2-3 environments per game
They already said that elder scrolls is far off and starfield is even farther off
Ya
we also need space dragons
to kill
with our ships
at this point it would not be a bethesda game is they did not have that
7 or so planets seems pretty ambitious, considering how much time and attention they put into their maps
I really hope they do a cross between hand crafted and procedural planets
Elder scrolls barely has any dragons
We've seen like two, if you're not counting eso
It says, DO NOT DISCARD, must mean that cardboard disc
It's telling you not to toss their dumpster fire of a game xD
I don't care what other people say I'm going to buy this game and I will enjoy it.
same
but not at launch
i plan on getting it for black friday or christmas
looks like a really fun game regardless of it not being FNV 2
I had to cancel my preorder for FO76 cos all the codes the resellers got are Europe only
so fuck it I'll wait for Christmas when it may have been proven flop
the solo play looks like fun imo, none of my friends seem to be interested in the game anyway š¤·
yeah, waiting for the inevitable alternative offline release is my plan rn
i think whats gonna happen is that its gonna die off fast, but BGS will continue to improve it, lowkey
It said it will have both online and offline
eeeeeehhh
I meant like getting hated and stuff
90% of people arent even giving 76 a chance, just straight downing the hateraid like sheep
First flop of Bethesda I guess fo76
im sure 76 has just as many problems as FO4 tbh, people are just now seeing it lol
i still love FO4 thats why i really wanna try 76
its too bad
...bethesda printed cases with trash in the case like that? wtf
again: why even bother then?
Darksiders 1 warmastered and Darksiders 2 deathinitive editions on sale on steam through the 16th for just under $5
darksider games are weird
I love em š
Abutchera, that isn't even a proper physical copy. That's a fuckin' waste of material right there
Always is with mainly online games, frankly
bgs is known for their stupidity
F76 won't get an offline mode for the same reason Destiny won't get an offline mode
Thing is, I don't actually know what that reason is
because they're online multiplayer games before anything else
even if you never actually bother to play with anyone else (so really it's well masked always online DRM, more or less)
Just loaded up destiny 2 and tried to do a bulletjump.
bulletjump?
Bulletjump is in warframe
ah
destiny isnt warframe
i know i was confused too
Ur mum
bulletjumps across the chat hi guyyyyysss
lands in water and dies
So that's called bulletjump, huh
Lmao
Also what the fuck Octavia is fucking great
Tfw you're looking for cetus wisps and you find one and then bullet jump into the water
Stupid wisps and murkray fish
Also, if anyone knows warframe, I could use help with this fuckin question
My team got a really buffed shield, as in jumped from 400 to 1400 or something, and no one has any idea how that happened
They thought it was me and they keep asking for it but I have no clue how to do it
Hey does anyone want to play minecraft on the PS4
whee
I've been wanting to pick it up, but have been hesitant due to performance concerns
It actually performs pretty well. Early on, there were definitely some hitches in MP, but it's smoothed out. Still has the occasional fuck up, but MUCH better overall
Granted, I've only played with one other and not the full 4
Hmm, I'd probably have even fewer issues then as I'd likely play it mostly solo
Oh yeah. Most of the hitches come in MP.
the 1.0 date used to be december :<
Yeah, I remembered that too and was like, oh huh
but i'm always down with delays if they mean the end result is better
I got it on Xbox so I have it on Windows store
I want 1.0 so I can play with steam friends
Gonna try out World of Final Fantasy.
i like it
Seems interesting
i like to say it's kingdom hearts minus Disney
