Long story short, anything that's exclusively paid for is cosmetic, you can earn premium currency by trading things that aren't too hard to get with other players, and the only things that are gameplay related that requires premium currency is inventory slots, but even then with the starting amount of platinum they give you, you're pretty set up until you get to the point where you can start earning your own plat through trading

The would have been served much better by having you gain health from good kills, or health packs, or both
Instead, if you take too much damage, you have to just stand behind something and wait.
They have that whip that grabs things too, so they could have made a system where some enemies drop health packs, then you use your whip to snap up the health
Keep the high pace violence going, the combos being chained
None of this "oh they shot me too much, guess I'll crouch behind this box for a while"

okay now that i've sated my curiosity about just wtf was going on in The Quiet Man...It was roughly what I thought from muted version, typical revenge story of sorts
but also has a stupid as hell twist to it
The twist is basically that the detective/cop guy (Robert?) was the main character Dane's dad, and he was an abusive asshole that blamed Dane for the death of his wife. Rob never let Dane get over his own mother's death, and so Dane turned into a fucked up guy that got involved with gangs and crime.
Rob at some point realized how much he fucked up and uses this woman (Lala) that's the spitting image of his wife, and Dane's mother, to try to reconnect with his son...By making it look like the guys that actually killed Dane's mother kidnapped her, so he'd go fucking ballistic and kill them. Then, Dane finally having gotten his revenge, would get over his mother's death and forgive his dad.
Despite his dad literally having just fucking manipulated him into killing two men, one of which he had become practically family with.
