I have it on PS4 and also grabbed it on PC

My only complaints with the PC version is that Windowed Borderless puts the game behind the taskbar in Windows... and 2.... no custom soundtrack... I mean, technically on the PS4 it still uses a background player (spotify) if you want custom music but it's still annoying if you wanna change songs you have to hope you have a dedicated button on your keyboard or you just have to tab out of the game.

other than that, game runs great, looks great, and that's all I have to say about Burnout Paradise Remastered.

I'm still not happy with how they changed 'crash mode' into 'blow up your car and roll around the roads until you get bored'

but that's pretty much the only way they could have implemented crash mode into a free-roam Burnout game.

I played the original on the PS3 back on it's original release, and it was a blast to play back then, and it's maintained that fun over the years.

Burnout Paradise Remastered comes with all the DLC cars, and Big Surf Island so there's plenty to run around with but you still have the 'base game' cars to unlock and do whatever with, so I think it's worth the $20 on Origin.

Burnout 4 : Revenge was pretty awesome too, but they did something to the game where you could just bully your way through traffic and not crash at all. At least in Takedown you had to be careful not to touch the AI non-racing cars or you'd crash. In Revenge, they made the non-player cars into physical objects that you could slam into other players.

Each one had specific areas you could unlock achievements for crashing people in a certain way. You'd get a picture taken of the moment too 😛

Then there's Burnout Legends on the PSP, which I ended up downloading to my psvita.. it plays a lot like Takedown so I'm happy with it, even if it's not the best looking.

I really wish Midnight Club 2 would get a proper remaster. I LOVED that game on the PS2 but the gamepad controls don't translate to the Xbone controller very well. That game had some awesome races and the bike races were super intense.

One of the hardest races on the bike was you on a bike against the fastest street cars and the course had you zipping in and out of alleyways and through dense traffic.
