To be fair, that was the case for a bunch of folks, as the whole sailing in space idea didn't really hit the mark for'em

This is giving more freedom of movement, but they're still trying to hone in on getting you into the action vs. spinning in circles disoriented

That was the entire basis of the design decisions back with Rebel Galaxy, as I recall. They wanted to make space games more accessible, and the full freedom of movement they saw as detracting a bit from that

#

Buut that might have gone a little overboard for folks

#

So with Rebel Galaxy Outlaw they're trying a new trick that lets you toggle into locking on the position of enemy ships so you can just light up your thrusters & gun'em down
