Think I tried a demo ages ago of it, and you set up commandments which in turn influenced follower behavior. Universim is basically like Empire Earth + God game, kinda. Reprisal is a straight up spiritual successor to Populous & is lovely.

Each TES game does a different thing good. Arena was the setup, Daggerfall had a huge world, Morrowind had the best atmospheric writing and lore, Oblivion had the best explorable open world, Skyrim had the sleek modern mechanics, and ESO is the party mix of all of those things + multiplayer
I feel like ESO beats Skyrim at writing, combat, world and graphics though, at least out of the box
Skyrim's dragon tech was pretty cool to be fair

Also, discord's tos is draconian as fuck. You technically can get banned from discord (all of discord) for talking about how to exploit game bugs. According to ToS, sharing links to illegal content is grounds for a guild/network ban.
"abandonware" does not exist as a legal concept, so as such ROMs are considered software piracy and a violation of DMCA/other applicable laws. If you don't like this, go blame Sony, Disney, the US government, and Hollywood.
Oh, and John Deere.
And the entire music record industry.
The law is also clear - if you own a legally licensed copy of any software, you are entitled to make at least one (according to software license) backup for personal use only, applicable to the same license conditions. It's not that we "let" ROMs become illegal - they were just protected under the same copyright laws.
Also, you might ask why nintendo is doing this all of a sudden. Well, if they even believe that ROMs interfere with sales of snes classic/nes classic/their official emulators/etc...

If I had to guess it's because 2 was just kind of more of the same, and Infinite was a few steps back in offering fewer compelling options to navigate encounters, and was also simply more linear & less sandboxy
Plus Infinite was even more obvious in its theme park of issues approach, where they gave extremely superficial takes on real world situations & ideas without really engaging with them in any meaningful way

The first bioshock was just so immersive if I’m correct that’s the one where you get in a severe plane accident and it just transitions into gameplay after a short cutscene and from there on it just continues to entangle you in its world the other 2 were just that sequels to what was already a perfect experience
I distinctly remember playing as my older brother watched and he thought that the cutscene was still going as I swam up to that light house it was moments like that even in 2007 that just propelled it into the hall of game fame

My only dissapointment with doom eternal is lack of snapmap
Mod support is planned post launch though
so if that isn't like
5 years later
and more along the lines of 1 year later
then that won
won't be to big of an issue
Doom is honestly one of my favorite games of all time
People love it but i still think its under rated
I've replayed the campaign atleast 10 times
doing another replay currently
I play a lot of snapmaps to
arcade mode as well, although im not very good at it

Just bought doom and I’m in love with it doom eternal looks so great but some of the features in doom are just so ☺️🤩🤯

yeah, kinda.
it's just a bit more work depending on the nature of the game when without mod tools/sdk stuff

Ya but mod support just opens the doors to a more community centric and all around smoother modding process especially with support from the dev team with tools to assist
Nms and it’s modding community surely wouldn’t mind that sort of thing also

take FTL for instance, being the kind of game it is, it's not too difficult to mod. jump up to something like NMS tho, and it's more of a challenge.

True sometimes it’s just how the game is created and currently works that can cause mod support to be an issue
