So, a small update on the server: Any overpowered weapons will be purged when seen. This includes swords/bows with illegal enchants (think sharpness 8), as well as all tools that are caught. Items like Mute/Deafen will not be affected by this purge, nor will socketing
I'm investigating a full rebalance on how PVP works to make the game both more welcoming to new users and more challenging to old users, and OP items throw all of the data i'm collecting. [Mob rebalances, item rebalances, etc]

factions are kinda pointless without pvp, stealing, and keep inventory off, with the majority of people living in spawn which would be considered a safe zone. So unless the population grows and things get a little more dangerous we could probably go with just basic land claiming rather than full factions stuff

Warframe is so fucking good, im at 125 hours in and its just so damn good. I am honestly so grateful that a product of this sheer quality is free. The cinematic quests are awesome, the stat/mod system is in depth with Arcanes, Mods, Forma, fusion, rivens, and more conributing a shit ton to how everything works. Every weapon is unique in some way, every frame looks and plays a whole world different from any other frame, and there is so much to do. You got normal missions with different types: Interception, Capture, Sabotage, Spy, Extermination, and Mobile Defense (mabye another), you got your Quests, you got your Orokin Derelict, even more Quests, Sorties, Plains of eidolon, and more. There are like 150 different tilesets for each planet, and 5-10 Relays(idr how many) , there is a huge trading economy, and no pay to win, but instead everything can be earned in game for free. There is so much more but ouffe its good.

I like to actually have fun killing zombies, in Cod, its always a chore. In killing floor, shooting a zed in the chest with a 12 gauge and its chest having a gaping gore hole, not spraying a zombie down for 5 seconds while little blood particle effects squirt out.
Its therapeutic to spend your time as a surgeon, but instead of a scalpel, you have an AA-12
And instead of patients, you have zombies

Long story short, she's been making some very unsavory comments over on Twitter. She was one of the people who mocked TotalBiscuits death and recently, she proceeded to pull the "gender role" card on someone that gave critique regarding major characters in MMO's only for her to rebuttle with the "I don't have to listen to you because you're a male" card, the "I'm a professional and you're a pleb" card, the "Stop sending tweets to my publically accessible and readible Twitter account" card and also the "Anyone who disagrees with me is getting blocked" card.
She was recently terminated from Arena Net along with Peter Fries for their "unprofessional" and "abusive" behavior towards people.
Oh, and I forgot to add the "I'm an entitled person" card to her list of unprofessionalism. n.n;;;

I have played other monster hunter games though
Basically what you do in a basic Monster Hunter World quest is this : You gather up tracks and markings to be able to find out where the monsters are, and then you fight them and unlock more details about their weaknesses and such as you attack them and break stuff.
The bigger badder monsters you can take down, you can build better stronger weapons.
There is a quest and the game itself is solo-friendly
but it will take some time to learn which weapons suit your playstyle
you'll need to fight some monsters over and over to get the right materials
because some monsters are easier with certain armor sets and weapons
but in the end it really comes down to learning their attack patterns
and learning how to use the environment to your advantage, since you can get monsters to fight other monsters
or get them caught in traps or drop boulders on their heads
that sorta thing
Personally I enjoy the game
It gives me a challenge and when I finally overcome it, it’s the best feeling
Especially when you get to a monster that just makes you think you’ll never win against it
The people that complain about the game are mostly the hardcore elite fans that want what is in the old games : a ton of monsters and g-rank
Like for example the one that’s getting released on the Switch (Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate) is a port of the 3ds game that has a total of 129 monsters
The original version of Monster Hunter Generations has 107
Monster Hunter World has 40-50 I think at current
but honestly I've been enjoying MHW a little more than MHG mostly because playing with a controller with twin analog stick has been a dream
