So, like, other than the in-game loot they give you, the sidequests also reward you with lore-ish things

I recently got the D2 dlcs and i am liking it more than d1 pre ttk tbh. The lack of random rolls on weapons makes it a lil annoying, but there is faction rally, escalation protocol, the shit raid, and the amazing Eater of Worlds and Spire of Stars Mini Raids a couple things make it worth, but im just getting ready for forsaken

Frontier are generally really good at supporting their games without mods. I understand games with the depths of like Bethesda's games needing mods.
Frontier sims don't really need that - the games aren't that deep. The gameplay elements they can add easily (and have in previous titles)

I can't imagine that being too difficult. They've rehauled guest behaviour a number of times in PC.
That said, I don't think the guest behaviour is terrible. Their impact on Facility Rating is poor, but the actual guests themselves to me aren't the main stars of the show obviously.
Contrary to some, I don't want to have to worry about them too much. I've a hard enough time keeping my raptors in check ๐

One of the problems I have with Dark Souls 3 was that it was the least "hard but fair" of the series
Bloodborne has such great hit boxes and manages to make bosses that can wreck you but when you defeat them you feel so good.
Dark Souls 3 bosses have some attacks that are faster than the human reaction time (so can only be learned by memorization)
and some attacks with barely an animation, and hitbox problems
