@hearty wasp I am not even entirely sure if adding custom audio is possible any more :(
They changed how the game loads audio files to an enum from just an int, so even if I got it to add the sound, I don't think the game would be able to play it.
It's really odd they changed it how they did because every time they add new audio they need to update the exe, which they never had to do (before 1.5 I think they added it...)

Updated secondary pink color, plus added second optional version that also changes the sand colors to the legacy lighter vanilla NMS sand colors and 1 custom sand color.
I wish I had time to host this proper, but barely had time to make it. It uses the vanilla colors for grass, plants, leaves, and alternate grass (8 colors each), and adds 8 more colors/shades for each category by using the vanilla plant colors for grass, vanilla alternate grass for plants etc. Also there is a custom pink shade added for grass, alternate grass, plants, and leaves. It is arranged so that you will most likely keep the same color or new/different shade of the same color of grass on your planet that you have now. AKA red planet will most likely stay a shade of red, blue planet will most likely stay a shade of blue etc.

Ive tried two mods as well as trying to do it myself, all that ever changes is the reported speed, graphicallly. Your actual speed doesnt change, ever, as far as my testing shows @ivory sparrow

Okay think I got it how I want now LOL. This will be the final update to this version number. Changed 2 of the color combinations. Same colors, just re-arranged 2 combos for a slightly more natural look.

@lime mesa i dont think its related. At worst you can get trees passing through walls. the mod doesnt change terrain generation

Oh yes, you re right , there were clipping rocks on lush planets, but it has ben fixed yet. I am doing a final polish on all existing biomes ( regarding esthetic and performance )

@thin viper I've installed your asset overhaul mod today, and unfortunately it seems to result in planets with few or no trees, whereas my multiplayer partner does see trees on the same planet (with no mods). Is this a known bug?
(Trees are still gone after removing the mod and rejoining the MP session. Maybe I need to clear my cache somehow?)

Reinstalled the mod and cleared my shader cache. No luck. Going to uninstall the only other mod I have, atlas colors overhaul.
I see trees now, including new trees from the asset pack. I have no idea how the Procedural Colors Overhaul could possibly have caused this
Re-downloaded procedural colors overhaul and installed it, trees disappeared. Uninstalled it, trees came back. The issue only affected multiplayer.

you can change certain mechanics with globals and tables, you can add shit to different lists, you can use unused features and mix & match them to make quasi-unique mechanics, but only with what the mbin structures provide

Close distance view and fog are essential for the vanilla game though, so that exploring will be encouraged more because you can't see stuff really far away so you don't know what to expect
that's more just to accommodate console power tbh

@glossy lake I recommand to increase your vram via windows . Its quite simple and also recommanded for intensive Ram using programs like No Man's Sky. Personnaly, i ve set it to 64Giga and it prevents any crash

You are using a old version
Your spawner file is 1.6mb
The current version is 1.2 mb
So download the latest version
Hope that fixes it for ya
General suggestion is you delete all old files of a mod before using new ones

It's hard for me to say, there's mods that change all sorts of things.
Mods that add and improve biomes/generation, new ships and true alien worlds to mods that add in completely new items for base building.
