I can say from my observations that:

In uninhabited systems, I've yet to be stopped by a random trader, this make sense being, you know, uninhabited. But does act as a way of filtering out trader encounters.

My frequency of anomaly encounters seems to have decreased with each subsequent encounter.
Anyone else got any useful observations r confirmed patterns? - Based on my own observations I'm wondering if there might be diminishing returns on timer, to discourage grinding anomalies (Similar to how there is a timer on freighter battles). Anyone else made a similar observation?

You need all 16 glyphs unlocked before you can do that step of the quest. Check the guides on obtaining glyphs. (Living ships are really aimed at the end game players)

I had gotten an upgrade throuhg dialogue that had allowed me to get massive ammounts of credits for scanning new flora and fauna but I got that upgrade on my base multitool and lost it when I upgraded, but now I cannot seem to find what upgrade that was or where I can aquire it. I have reached the base where there are other actual players that allows me to buy tons of upgrades to various things, but I still cannot find that upgrade, or anything like it
any idea what that upgrade was called or how I could obtain it again?

When you do the purge and jump to level 10 galaxy does it put you randomly anywhere in the new galaxy?
For whatever reason, I’m assuming because I forced that final portal mission for the purge to spawn on the very center of elucid, I spawned 2-3k LY away from the center of the lvl10 new galaxy...

Think it's +/- 30% on it. Shields are static. Guns seem to run from an extreme low of 155 to a max of 220, jump drive hard-caps at 165ly, manuvering goes from 190 to 230.

in that case you have no need to save then... save before you go through the portal and when you return.. you can then save again before you claim the ship.. then do the farming for the colour you like...

got coords to teh fallen <something> flew there landed and plonked a save beacon down so manual and auto save in same place... checked out ship didn't like colour so reloaded colour changed took it

The autosave colour change only seemed to happen once for me - like if I landed there and the colour wasn't what I liked, then reloaded the autosave, it would change from what it was originally, but then it would be that same colour I'm pretty sure every time I reloaded the auto save.

I did a manual save before I got into my ship and went to the final place, that was where I could do save reload for changing colours and styles. But after a dozen or so, they started being shuttles instead of living ships, so I would have to exit right out and start again.

Can blackhole jump without destroying your ship, pulse engines and launch thrusters pretty much take care of themselves when fully upgraded.

ah! I was told to try blue and those work just slowly get more freighters than eggs
so you want O and B in the 3/4 letter thing like B4f for example
I did some blue Korvax systems and got some upgrades but it does take a while... I've used a full tank as well and the best upgrade I got was an A, previous to that mainly C's
