||I got to the place, and got a message in my ship to go to an abandoned building that's somewhere in the north pole area, after flying around, it was an abandoned building but there was some new music playing when I got near it, I interacted with the terminal inside and it spouted some cryptic message that they will join us soon, and watch for them in the stars. The music will continue playing until you leave the system.||

if that matters to this, then it could connect to the agents of unfathomable power associated with the abyss--the people said to have become entirely different when contacting the intelligence in the waves. while the C.M. today wasn't directly related to the water, it is called a void egg, and an abyss is a void. I theorize it's all to do with the death of the atlas, or something (as most things are, in the storyline)

the abyss is still so mysterious. the game says it could be another AI, but the only ways I can think of another are like this:

I recall Waking Titan. 🙂 I swear I participated every day it was on, and if something happened over night, I read up on it on GameDetectives. And still, for the life of me, I could not tell you what it was about... Some parts of it were about building a server/network large enough to simulate the universe and what-not, and a friendly self-aware AI running away with said network, and a super realistic dream "VR" (which added together, might explain the Atlas and us)... But all the stuff between that... calibrations and shards of half-told stories... what was the Foundation's motives and why did they contact "us"...?

The Foundation created the citizen science division so we could help test their artificial intelligence. Especially at the end, we and Loop16 interacted a lot. The puzzles were meant to bring us together. At the end, Loop16 attained an operational capacity way beyond the intention, and created 1.3 somewhere in there
Then, in season 2, we were brought back in through this AI and the company to figure out what is causing the myriad corruption and the W/ARE company’s relation to it. This ended with simulated remnants of the dreamers in No Man’s Sky, who we play as, and 1.5/NEXT
