They need to overhaul those things. [Suggestion]
Hello everyone, I’ve been playing No Man’s Sky since 2016, and I’ve witnessed and experienced every stage of its development from the very beginning. But I have a few important thoughts about the game’s development roadmap. Personally, I believe that instead of constantly adding shiny new features, Hello Games should focus on renewing and polishing the systems that already exist but feel outdated. Here’s a list of the main points I’d like to highlight:
Exocrafts, especially their first-person camera. (They’re almost unusable right now)
Improving Exocraft functionality (for example, allowing them to mine materials that Multi-Tools cannot).
Upgrading weapons and combat mechanics. (They look very outdated, and animations become frustrating when playing in first-person).
Diversifying starship mechanics while keeping them arcade-style. (I think we should feel the weight and power of the starship we’re flying).
Turning freighters into more than just static bases in space. They should be manually pilotable and able to excavate planetary resources. (I know frigates already gather materials, but freighters should feel more like something we actively command).
Simplifying but balancing the player economy. (Currently, almost all Unit-earning methods rely on repeating the same grind hundreds of times or exploiting glitches. I think this needs a proper overhaul).
Replacing RNG-based Technology Modules with fixed stats, but increasing the variety of bonuses to keep builds unique (like a stronger Burst Photon Cannon).
Real freighter and frigate battles. (Player-controlled large-scale fights that even allow piracy).
Unlimited storage containers instead of just 10 universal ones. Each vehicle, base, and freighter should have their own storages. This would give real meaning to farming and resource management. (Universal storage can still exist...
