Building Fuel Stations Across Abandoned Systems [Suggestion]
A week ago I began an enormous undertaking in No Man's Sky: establishing Sunforge Stations in null worlds and X/Y-class worlds that lacked space stations.
What are Sunforge Stations???
As soon as you step onto one of those alien worlds, you'll find:
4 Landing Pads
Powered base (will never run out)
A big refinery supplied with uranium for fuel
A trade terminal,
health and hazard protection
a save beacon and base portal!
So, next time that you find yourself stranded out in the boondocks, you'll have somewhere to replenish, trade goods, and unwind.
???? Why it matters
Certain abandoned worlds actually conceal resources worth traveling to. However, for new players, or those playing Survival/Permadeath, being marooned can be quite discouraging. These stations serve as a safety net a gentle nudge onward so that progress is not lost.
Yeah, if you're in Creative Mode or you are a pro or smth, you absolutely don't require it at all. But for begginer survival players and travelers, it can actually flip the game from super infuriating to actually exploring. ????
Till date progress
I've already established 103 stations, and hey, that's not even 1% of the galaxy yet! It's becoming quite the large-scale community effort.
What you can do?
I’m looking for fellow travelers who want to:
Help build more stations
Contribute resources (I'm playing in Survival mode, resources are either sparse)
_or simply come for entertainment and adventure!
DM me we can totally meet up at the Anomaly if you wanna get in on this. Even if you’re not into these stations, they could come in handy for a traveler who’s stuck someday.
I also want your opinions
TL;DR: Establishing a network of community fueling/rest stops in formerly abandoned systems all over the galaxy. Already rolled out 103, though need more manpower....
