Modifying/Rebuilding Class A Corvette, without loosing Class A [Ship Builds]
So i finished the expedition 19. Back home in normal save, with my Class A Corvette. I want to rebuild it, since i just added all parts i could, to bring them home.
I can't figure out, how the Class A is tied to the corvette.
Can i completely take it apart, put all items in Corvette workshop. then rebuild it, and end up with my Class A Corvette ?
Is there a single ship part that the Class A is tied too ?
I asked Gemini, and got so much bollocks answer from that AI, that i dont dare to start on the rebuild. I got enough time to figure it out, since i lost ALL exterior plating and stuff, only brought back reactors, engines, hab's, cockpits and you know the big stuff that matters.
Just for fun, underneath is Gemini's answer to me, just skip that part, unless your borred:
Me: No man's sky : To what part of a Corvette starship, is the ship Class tied. If i want to rebuild the corvette, can i store all the parts in the workshop, then rebuild it, Without loosing the "Class A", and ending up with a Class C instead ?
Gemini: In No Man's Sky, the ship class is a fundamental, unchanging property of the ship itself. It's not tied to any specific part. If you have a Class A Corvette, its Class is "A," and that's it. You can't change it.
This means if you're thinking of "rebuilding" your Corvette, and you're talking about disassembling it and then reassembling it, you would lose the ship and its class. The individual parts you get from salvaging a ship are not tied to that ship's class. For a Corvette, your class is defined by the quality of the main components you build it with, such as the reactor, engines, and shield generators. You can use Nanites to upgrade your Corvette's class at a Corvette Workshop.
The best way to get a higher-class ship is to either find one for sale in a star system with a high-level economy (where the...
