The multiplayer sync issues have me concerned for the future [Bug]
I love the corvettes, I love the idea of a multiplayer shared experience with other people in one ship.
But this update is exposing how flawed the current networking system is.
I have had constant issues with seeing another person's corvette, I have constant issues with them being able to see mine.
The anomaly also has constant issues with corvettes, if multiple ships occupy the same pad, this causes both ships to become invisible! This happens so frequently, in fact, that every pad aside from the one I've landed on is most of the time completely empty. This is such an utter bummer as the idea of being able to tour through other corvettes was probably the thing I was looking most forward too, they even mention it in the trailer.
While undertaking a Corvette mission, specifically I've noticed the planetary depot raid ones, there's instances where the entire quest desyncs, and players can't even claim their rewards.
I would love side gunners, I would love missions where a corvette pilot and a gunner can be the space team, and then the corvette pilot has to drop off the ground team, and the two have to work together, it would be so cool.
But if these issues were persist, it'd probably be 2 hours of trouble shooting why my allies can't see my ship, having to go back to the space station, resummon the entire corvette, take off, and pray to god it's not invisible again, and then go have fun, and then also pray that sometime during the mission another catastrophic desync doesn't occur.
I don't know if it was this update, or if freighters have always been this bad, but the constant desync for freighters is completely abysmal. More than one freighter can't exist in a system at a time. Why? Why is this not just a network setting you can toggle? It's not like we can see the bases on the freighter until we dock.
