To Do's [Discussion]
Hey all,
So looking around most of the "cool things to do" lists are the same. Not that they're boring, a good many things aren't obvious at first and are staples of the game for a good reason but I'm curious. What are the really nuanced and rare things people do and come across in the game? Sorry I know there are threads for this but even those often hold the popular things. Figured I'd give a go at a list. Curious what thoughts or things everyone else has 🤔 :
Make a Low Planet Orbital base
Acquire all collectable exotic ruin building pieces
Find a discordant alien monolith and retrieve the multi tool
Use the PanGalactic Star Cabs service
Make an echo locator farming planet
Make a carbon farm on your freighter (really anywhere) using standing planters
Use the NMSCoordinateExchange to find your perfect ship
Build outdoor farms in a plants natural biome
Acquire a synthetic companion
THE USUAL
A. Run through a derelict freighter found with an emergency signal scanner. These are different than the random freighters you'll come across pulsing around systems
B. Farm s class freighter tech from derelict freighters - find a system that spawns s class tech every time
Build a deep sea base 1500u +
Industrialize your most used resources (or every resource)
Follow autophage quest lines
Acquire and run a settlement
Spam pirate stations for suspicious tech and arms to sell for nanites
If sentinels are bugging you and you haven't experienced it yet, locate a sentinel pillar and disable the planets sentinels.
Get a living ship frigate or, get an entire living frigate fleet
Establish bases required to farm and craft stasis devices ( https://gameplay.tips/guides/no-mans-sky-definitive-guide-to-crafting-stasis-devices-from-scratch.html ) good breakdown.
Get into companion genetic sequencing
Get into cooking
Get into fishing...
