I actually had a theory about these fungal paradise planets. The grass is able to light up in waves in such great size is because the grass might actually be fungus itself. I like to think it’s a sort of massive interconnected network of fungi, sorta like mycelium.

@drowsy lintel Lots and lots of patience.
I start by using the Scale / Rotate buttons while placing a floor panel.
I rotate it until its sideways, then turn it 90 degrees, rotate it more until its nearly vertical, then rotate it back 90 degrees and place it. Dont let it snap to anything yet.
After placing it, snap a wall piece to the side of it. After that, try to place a landing pad above the wall piece and it will eventually try to snap to the sideways wall piece.

Build a local teleported in your base. Build a very small four room building above ground with a single glass tube and a landing pad...then put the second teleporter in the little building.

Your ship will always be on the landing pad when you teleport to that base from that point on

im not into building elaborate bases... just yet. just the bare minimum, as i go along. i'll get there, but first i wanted a base on a normal planet, an underground base is what im doing now.

next an underwater base... and my big, elaborate base will be both underwater and above ground ... if i can manage it... if it's possible somehow...

but that one will have to be on the absolute harshest planet imaginable. my current one is a good candidate, but has no water. only 24/7 extreme 30+ rads radioactive storms, but somehow full of flora and fauna
