If you have found the system the freighter spawns in, keep reloading pre-warp and doing the rescue fight until it comes up as S.
Only the body is locked to the system, class will reroll.

assuming we're still talking about ships here you guys should work towards getting living ships if you plan on exploring a lot. Living ships are super cheap to fuel and they can go to all stars and the only downside is that repairs can require rarer materials, cant upgrade storage and you cant put different tech like economy scanners on them.

That's really cool. I'm guessing that tower is the flight command tower. I'd say, for utility sake, to place storage units nearby. Most of the time I land on a planet is to get resources. Having a place to store left overs for later at an easy to access place would be a good idea, but it might mess with the aesthetic of the place since storage containers are large and bulky

@main dove. This base is meant as an observatory style outpost, (it is a moon and facing a planet), the pads would look worse with supports of the kind you're think since this whole structure is on a large rock, I will add the style I used higher up for pads because it does look wierd

Im not sure if it's possible but you could probably use small and short walls on small panels or paving and half ramps to create your own struts that come out from the rock

lol ship doesnt care what game says. also what happens if you try to fly the ship while its underwater? will it just teleport to the top?
@spark widget Crashed ships underwater will still take off, they will do the animation as normal but if the water is too deep they will accelerate towards the surface of the water at incredible speed
