@main dove but honestly, after the first time seeing one, were they really that special before? At least now the asset has some long term use instead of being something people only get surprised to see once

For me, I always wanted to see those assets on other planets, like the bubbles on lush planets. I just think that it adds a bit more of a change, in the sense that if you like the exotic flora, you can see lots of it on a planet with only that, or if you don’t really like them they can still add to the beauty of the game whilst exploring

Each to their own, I guess is what I’m saying. More chance for people to get the perfect planet they want

Here's what's new:

• All mineable ores/gasses are topped off at 20k even!

• Color-coded Beacons are now placed at each base for visual ease to head towards!

• Full Underground storage + 5 refiners located at each base!

• Improved lighting in greenhouses

• All 5 Exocraft Summoning Stations built at each base! (Ribbiane has additional 6th: Nautiloid)

• Under-surface wires/piping optimiztaion (helps with loading)

Geology wise most of the new planets I've been on look great, but since my preferred mode of transport is foot they are difficult to impossible to navigate. At least the ones I've been on so far

Had this odd glitch happened when I jumped into my save file after the recent update. I was in my home base system and was packing things up to relocate. I took the portal on the system's station to the system I previously visited the last time I played, and when I got to that system, going to the galaxy map revealed that I was at the galactic core. I warped to a nearby system and sure enough, I'm at a star system that's right next to the galactic core. This previous system wasn't anywhere near the core

Just got this weird.... bug?? In the main quest the observatory was in a random spot in space and there was nothing there (I know I can just go reset the quest). But there were miniature stars everywhere. Is this a bug? It was super weird

It looks just like the stars from the loading screen but I could go up to them with the ship and camera
It was ONLY in this spot where the waypoint was, once I left they were gone

Sometimes you can get a rare bug where the planet does not fully spawn (I found a planet that was just a ball of water. Saving my game and then reloading, the planet was normal after that.)

So go to the Station and exit your ship to autosave; load the autosave and fly back and see if it still bugged like that. (In either case it should be reported to HG with that link above.)
