if you only have 5 ships then buy a A or S one and scrap it for the augment repeat that process until you have a load of augments and then use those to upgrade the ship lots cheaper than spending 300 million per slot like I did when I took my Squid from 20 slots to 48

@hasty oracle what you should have done when you entered the system and there was a Space Rescue going on, ignored the fight and landed on the station get out then back in the ship (creates a save) then leave the station and enter the fight once done land on freighter and using the visor in the hanger check if the stats of the freighter are OK for you if they are go visit the captain, if not reload save and leave station and keep doing that until you get the class/slots etc you're happy with. But since you've bought it you can do the above next time a space rescue happens it'll just cost you a bit to upgrade... just teleport to a system close by where you got the freighter and then warp in to the system and do the above, ignore fight, land on station etc etc

Yeah, but looking for a precise combo is gonna be brutal. Theres something like 40 ship colors the way probablility works, you would be after 40 colors X 3 Engines X 6 noses X 5 Wings etc etc
