In terms of weapons, Fortillian and Titania are two different kinds of fighters. Fortillian has Positrons and Photon Cannons maxed out with heavy shields. Titania is a throwback to 1.0: Photon Cannons, Max Phase Beams, and Hyperdrive module boosts. I like to have two entirely different kinds of fighters if I'm gonna have more than one.

In terms of which one gets the job done better; Fortillian takes the cake and asks for seconds. LOVEEEE the Positrons...

Nah, I think it's fine as it is. No ship colors if we can already increase slots and whatnot. Once you find the perfect looking ship, you can fix it up to be the best now.

Again, I had to go through the heart of hell to get that ship, but it was beyond worth it in the end, and it's a valuable lesson that, if you find a 1-planet system with a planet that sucks with bad storms, bad sentinals, and bad creatures...it might be guarding something amazing...

It's a good starting freighter. The freighters come in two tiers. The smaller ones max at 19 slots, the larger ones max at 34. If you refuse that one, the next one you get offered will be of the larger size.

That's assuming this is the first you rescued, and not one you just landed on.

However (and this is a bit advanced, but just keep it in mind): Freighter bases don't allow you to recover the materials when you trade freighters. You lose all of those materials. So it's a good idea to disassemble as much as you can if you plan on trading freighters.
A few exceptions: The contents of your storage containers remain intact.
Your frigates and star ships transfer to the new freighter.
Frigate missions in-flight will still be active when you build new Fleet Command Rooms on your new freighter.
