@slender field I can confirm the antipredator is succesful on my end. This little guy and his kind would chase me all over, every few minutes they were attacking. Now, he's running around and searching for the abundant prey rather than targeting me! \o/

Ive tried a number of other methods to dull the predators but they all seem to cut the predator spawn rate rather than actually changing their behavior
ofc meaning a full anit predator mod in that method would just eliminate them from existing which was no good

I thought they were being shy at first, but I think that was just the regular respawn time for the planet. I'll run around a bit more and see if they're shy.

The variable is "NeverPreyedOn" = True, so if that's an accurate descrip they should still retaliate if you damage them

This one is a scavenger but he really didn't like you getting within 50u of him, now he's docile.
I'll test that too on the next one I come across.

then go to space station to see whats in the cabinet as you could find alien or experimental

followed tutorial to a "T", and still door won't open. green light goes on to indicate sensor is activated but still no opening. is there a bug, or can i not go directly from battery to i have to go thru base power which is connected to battery

@candid escarp why are you powering a proximity sensor directly to the power grid?
see, the door closes when powered, right? that's why you need a power inverter. Have the green side of the inverter be connected to the power grid, the red side with the door, and the proximity sensor should be connected to the middle of the power inverter (the modifier)
