@pure hamlet i really wish there were more anomolous planets. The first planet like that i cane across i wanted to find all of these weird planets. Didnt take long. Btw planets like that, certain assets flooding the enviroment, have "glitches" ypu can pick up marked in the scanner by a yellow "?". You can place these as decorations at your base under glitches in decorations menu.

Well of course there's always that one ship in your fleet that's just your everything ship. I have two of them, actually.
First there's this one, which is my legacy hauler. I picked this up back in the Pathfinder update, and it's been loyal to me ever since. And even though there's no tech slots, it's a loveable ship regardless.
Then there's this one, which I just picked up recently. This is my new main, built similarly to the first one, but thanks to technology slots, which the first one lacks, I was able to beef up its mobility and hyperdrive range to reflect that of the legacy one when I first got it.

Got lucky, excavated an ancient burial and got that artifact. It's random. Sometimes it's a common item worth about 50 grand, sometimes its a fossil worth 300 grand. If you get crazy lucky you get something like what I got worth a few million

Decided maybe I'd make a Vy'keen since I'm generally just a big fan of work from the mercenary guild and I tend to default to fighters
Getting a decent looking Vy'keen is rather difficult tbh
Especially when the colors like black don't actually result in black but instead this white with black highlights.
Not too sure about the face colors though, might swap them around

I'm still rocking an A-class rifle from Atlas Rises because it's just too good looking.
Haven't found an S-class rifle I liked, so I hold this close to my heart. Besides, in my eyes, class of multi-tool doesn't matter as much as ships or freighters. They all do the same thing.

@pallid flint I have only used the main base teleporters, not the short range ones... tried putting them inside a pre-fab circle room but it wouldn't let me... i've seen screenshots of people putting them on different levels to teleport from floor to floor and want to try that out... what do you use the short range ones for?
