@slender field I kinda like making stuff as modular as possible (I like some parts of doing it anyway), and it's not using the same files, and it can be used with this if someone wants to. If you look at my stuff, you'll see I have "2" mods, but there are actually 15 mods within them LOL. Just so people can choose what parts they want. Screenshots I take don't include 8 mods I use because I'm trying to give people a rep of what it will look like without any other mods. If I did it "built in" the way I do mods, it would just be in the zip as a separate mod.

I wish cloud shadows were actually cast from the sun, and not just straight down. It's weird when the sun is behind the clouds but you're standing in a bright daylight (and vice versa).

I jumped into a session for about 5 minutes today.
Stumbling across this clearing, I realized that the game I have today has checked off every single wish I originally had back in 2016 when I first bought the game, and achieved more.
It feels and plays like a completely different game, now. Some of the changes might not sit well with everyone (I have my qualms about certain aspects) but it's amazingly impressive. I haven't really taken the time to sit back and compare my legacy experience to a fresh post-NEXT experience, to be fair.
For example, the third-person camera was a major request from me: properly implemented into the game now, it shows off the impressive size and scale of objects.. gazing over cliffs or just walking along the terrain is much more improved with less visual anomalies (TAA implementation, minor godray fixes), the clouds, albeit pixelated are so much better, the animals have vastly better animations, flora is now intriguing with some serving emergent gameplay purposes..
it just washed over me for a bit.
