Yeah... It's like... Game designer says all ships must fit in a certain size box, with the landing gear roughly in the middle. Ship designer thinks this sounds boring, proceeds to purposely design ships that fail to meet the requirements.

What is this huge (larger than a planet) twirling spinning panel thing? I found it in a system that has a corrupted (nanite-infected) space station, and many corrupted buildings on the various planets. I'm guessing there is a connection.

@wild palm That's an upgrade module. It gets a boost when you install it next your hazard protection. You can't move it, but if you're on PC you can install a save editor to move it

@wild palm There is no such thing as an exotic hauler. Exotics are their own class and have up to 21 inventory slots (or so I've been told, I've only seen (and own) a 20 slot). Exotics are all smaller ships, and every one is an S class.
