There are two types of ladders
there are the ones that go in the middle of square and circle rooms
and there are ones that go on the outside of cuboids and solid cuboids
then there are cuboid interior ramps that are like stairs that snap to cuboid flooring which is for turning a giant cuboid room into multiple floors

Thanks for the info @warm kestrel about using flooring to make the ramp snap. What I mean about internal ladders is you can put a hydroponics dome on top of a cuboid but no internal ladder to get up to it - like you can with prefab round and square rooms.

no, there is no ladder that can be placed inside of cuboids, just put a prefab round room under the dome, or put it on the roof and surround it in a ring of cuboids with a roof of cuboids but leave the actual space open if that makes sense
I usually just use the ramp though, and on the second floor, have a holo door that leads to a section of the roof where i have my domes

@main dove as a general rule of thumb, if you see a particular model as a C in that system, you won't find it as an S. they seem to range C,B,A or B,A,S I've never seen a system which had a particular model as both a C and a S. ships in general in the system can range from C to S, but not a particular model.

I think most of the S class ships look abit out there, not exactly kewl. The thing is, I found an abandoned ship in the wild, and I fixed the engine, and used it to trade for my 21 slot ship. So my starter ship was still in my list, unused, so maybe I will trade it. as I can't just abandon it.

@copper robin Apparently you can replenish your oxygen even if you're standing on the external roof of an underwater building. I'm not sure why or how but it's there.

with the gravity being so low, jumps take forever so it was easy to get into photo mode before I landed again
Getting the timing right to capture the smaller sentinal gunfire was tedious though and impossible to capture one's own beam which sucks.
