I think 17.7.2 drivers are not good for NMS 1.3. I'll submit a bug report ASAP when I get home and rollback to enjoy it at least a bit.

FPS drops a little with large herds of animals (like, 20+ animals), and I've never really had any other visual issues, it looks great. Textures are quite nice actually @candid eagle

Cuz that looks like it tried loading a lot of high resolution textures, ran out, and started loading low resolution textures. You might need to lower your texture quality setting.

No, you can walk around on it but the interesting bit is the terminal message (not spoiling) there is also vaults buried in the ground around that contains nanotechnology clusters and sometimes units(50k for me)
